IT SUCKS SEEING THE ONLY GIRL THAT RICKY LOVE IS CURRENTLY IN THE ARMS OF ONE OF THE JOCKS IN EAST HIGH. Not bearing the scene, Ricky without a thought dashed out of the cafeteria not bearing the sight of her ex-girlfriend with some guy. He was shocked of how quickly Nini found someone else to replace him.

He couldn't blame her, Ricky thought.

He didn't want a break up. Just a pause. Because of what happened that night. Nini said the "L" word out of the blue. It was just too sudden and Ricky couldn't hide that he was surprised and pressured when Nini said those three words, easily.

Little did he know that those three words would be the cause of ending their relationship.

Ricky sighed in frustration and grabbed his things to his locker. He was planning to go to his usual spot in the East High. The rooftop. It was locked up for some peculiar reason.

His bitten fingers brushes the gold cold lock of the rooftop. Ricky pulled the old  Bobby pin that he usually use as a key. It is hidden behind one of the flower pot.

The fresh cold wind met his brown curly locks, this was his only usual spot in East High. The rooftop is the only place that makes Ricky sane with everything going on in school. This place comforts Ricky in a different and peculiar way.

He first found this place when he learned about his parents going different paths. Maybe that's the reason, Ricky thought.

Ricky let out a exasperated sigh.

It never fails to give him a light hug with everything. And as if it will take away all the worries. Problems. Stress. Brokenness.

But surprisingly the rooftop didn't give him the satisfaction of what he's longing for, the comfort. Ricky walked near the edge but stops just wanting to take a deep breath and let go. He remembered Nini. Her smile. Laugh. Voice. Love.

"Why can't I feel you?" Ricky closed his eyelids. Why can't you take it away right now? Ricky was about to take another step,

" Hey, don't do that." then Ricky's eyes met hers.

"If you're planning on doing something stupid. Don't."

" Stella is that you? " Ricky joked.

" Sorry to break your fantasy. I'm not a character from any novels like Five Feet apart." the girl was oddly familiar to Ricky.

"  Am I right about what you're gonna do?" Ricky frowned but after staring at the blonde girl then it hit Ricky then back at the edge of the rooftop, he chuckled.

" I'm not gonna do anything don't worry. " he raised his arms as he explains. Ricky notices that the girl was carrying a pile of books. Her bag almost about to fall but her other hand took a grasp of it.

"I'm not worry though. Just thinking that it would be a mess .If you jump there blood and brains sprawled down there." the tone of her voice was like a thoughtful child while her eyes stayed focused on Ricky. Not trusting that he won't do anything stupid, she joins and sat beside him. With that Ricky chuckled.

"You like movies huh?" Ricky asked, trying to dodge the silence that invaded the two of them. She smiles for the first time.

"Well you could say that." she set her heavy books at the bench and tried to organize it.

"I-I could help you with that." but she declined his offer. But then Ricky remembered,

"I'm Ricky, Ricky Bowen."

"Nice to meet you, Ricky. Mind if I ask what we're you doing here? The last time I checked that this property is locked for as long as I can remember."

"W-Well you see, I just found this rooftop was open and all." he lied.

"Is that so?" she was busy stocking her books and was about to carry them but quickly Ricky took a hold of the other side of the books.

"I think I can manage them." the blonde girl said.

"Are you sure?"

"Uhuh and with that question. I think you're underestimating my strength here, Ricky."

"Well then...?"

" Eleanor. But you can call me Ellie since my name is a bit of an oldsy eh?" she made a funny English accent that made Ricky smiled. She nailed it though, he thought.

"Having a bad day?" Ricky nodded.

"I never thought I would come to this place. "

Ricky was about to asked why  but then remembered the rooftop has always been locked. They sat there in silence and for the first time Ricky appreciated the silence. The sun beams at the daisy and the different flowers at the rooftop while the wind continues to dance with it, gracefully.

It's so beautiful here, Ellie thought.

"You know it's just a bad day, Ricky." Ellie started, noticing his bothered look.

"Its not a bad life. Wait til tomorrow there will be a change."

"What if its worse?" Ricky was surprised to himself that he was comfortable to ask Ellie. Even though they just met...

"Then wear bold, bright clothes so you can't have a bad day, my friend." with that Ricky laughed  and couldn't help but to find the girl seating next to him wearing that goofy smile find cute.

"In case you're wondering its a quote from Jeffree Star."

Ricky couldn't help but to be left surprised that he was laughing and smiling all the way after all these weeks of frowning and sadness.

After a moment of laughing, Ellie excused herself and waved her hands. Ellie struggled picking her vibrating phone and answered it. Ricky watched the cute girl walk away and unaware of himself smiling at the bright girl he just met.
