THERE ARE SOME DAYS ELLIE JUST WISHED THAT SHE HAS MORE THICKER BROWS AS SHE TRIES TO PLUCK THEM. She groan in pain as she glared at her thin brow. Her eyes trail down at the cosmetics that Flora just bought out of the blue.

"Don't move, El. '' Flora scolded and pulled another eyebrow. She missed doing this with her.

" Why are we doing this again? " Ellie asked and pouted. She could smell the vanilla scent that she loves.

"I just wanna have hangout with my daughter." Ellie made a sour look.

"Well, I really appreciate the—Ow!"

"By the way...Kent just called me." Ellie was not expecting about that topic. Ellie couldn't even utter a word to what she was hearing.

"He asked me to have some lunch with—"

"With you?" Ellie snapped.

"With us." Ellie pursed her lips as she stood up.

"Are you really going to ask me that?" her Mom looked down as she tried to explain. But Ellie couldn't.

"It's just one meal, Ellie." before Ellie could say something hurtful, she left. Not wanting to hear any of the reason why she should be with anywhere near Kent. She could never forgive the very first guy that broke her heart.

Ellie shoved her things inside her locker, full of aggravation. Which to Ricky's surprise who was leaning on her locker.

"Everything alright?" Ellie bit her lower lip in frustration. Kent is back and now everything will be different, Ellie thought. She knew her mom still loves Kent. You know what they say first love never dies, right?

"Yeah, Everything's cool." but Ricky knew that she isn't saying the truth. 

"You sure? By the sounds of it, it's like you wanted to strangle someone." Ellie met Ricky's innocent worry look.

"No! Not at all." Ellie tries to come back to herself and cool things out but unfortunately she failed. It was just to much,everything going on in her house. Ellie organized her things inside her locker.

"Is it because of Ty?" Ellie paused and frowned at his question.

"No. Why would you think?" Ricky awkwardly shrugged his hands on one strap of his backpack. He was still uncomfortable when her boyfriend tried to make him avoid Ellie. But Ricky knew that Ellie is just her kind and good friend and that's all nothing more.

"Because he's your boyfriend." it almost sounded like a question when he said it. 

Ellie was taken a back when she heard what Ricky was saying. Her hand pushed the locker and tucked a hair behind her ear since it's bothering Ellie as they walk.

"What? No. I'm not dating Ty." which made Ricky more confused. Didn't Ty said that they're a thing?

"Oh..."was all Ricky could say. He is somewhat feeling weirdly and unexpectedly... relieved? 

But Ricky told Ellie why he did approached her in the first place. Ricky was planning giving Nini a voicemail, which contains his feelings and all. Ellie found it cute and was amused and at the same time curious where he's mustering all of his courage from. But before they could change the topic on the rehearsals later, Ellie asked what he just told her earlier.

" What made you think that Ty and I dating? " Ellie was surprised about what Ricky said later on.

" You two are always together and Ty told me. "

" What did Ty told you?" Ellie couldn't help but to press on.

" That you and Tiberius are dating. He was serious, though." Ricky said, hesitantly. Ellie stared ahead trying to contemplate what Ricky. Why would Ty tell such thing, Ellie thought. It somewhat made Ellie disappointed and confused?

"Would you excuse me for a moment?" Ricky shrugged and a bit dismayed because they agreed on going to the practice room together.

Ellie couldn't tell what to feel. Questions run on her mind. Tiberius wouldn't say that they were dating with no reason. Confusion run through her mind.

"Hey, why did you say we're dating?" Ty sighed in defeat and turn to Ellie. He was busy fixing the props for the musical.

"So, Ricky told you huh." there's annoyance in his voice as he took all the basketball at the case.

"That's not the point. Why would you say that?" Ty couldn't believe she was making this a big deal. Ellie followed his best friend as he tried to pick all the props that was used earlier.

"What's wrong with just joking around?"

"So you think it's just a joke? ." Ellie snapped not understanding his best friend at all.

"I'm not,alright? Ellie, why you're making this a big deal?" Ellie looked at him incredulously. Tiberius could see that there's anger and disappointment in Ellie's eyes. Then, realization hit Ty hard that broke his heart. She like him.

"You like him don't you?" Ellie was more confuse than before at what Ty was saying. Ty wanted to stop talking but it was just too much for his heart.

"What?"

"Come on, Ellie you're better than this. Liking a guy who plans on ruining a relationship is not you."Ellie was confused at what Ty was saying. It shocked Ellie that this was the first time Ty and her were close to fighting.

Before Ellie could utter a word. Ty snapped angrily at her. 

"You like Ricky." Ellie blinked at what he is saying.

"You know what's more frustrating? That I've been here all this time. And you never thought of me more than just a friend." Ellie wasn't prepared of this. 

She never thought of him as more than just best friends. Ellie remembered the coffees that Ty bought for her. The late night talks with him. The souvenirs that they always gave each other when they were on a field trip. The soothing hug that Ty gave Ellie whenever she had those panic attack.

"And Ricky just came out of nowhere...then poof." there's sadness and bitterness as he spoke Ricky's name. Then there's silence that made the situation a lot more worse for Ellie.

"Ty, I didn't know—" There it was. The only thing that Ty hated is to see, Ellie in guilt and in sadness because of she didn't feel the same way that Tiberius feels.

"My Gosh, Ellie. You're so dense." Ty looked down at the floor trying not to say anymore that will only hurt Ellie.

"Ty, I'm sorry. I jus—"

"Just go." Ellie was hurt when Ty said that but she knew who's more in pain right now. Tiberius. Ellie wanted to hug him and tell him what he wanted to hear. But she can't.
