AS IF IT WAS A NIGHTMARE, FIRST HIS MOM BEING WITH SOMEONE, NEXT ELLIE LYING TO HIM AND NOW THIS. Ricky leave a grief sigh as his eyes trails on the theater room. The floor were wet and some sprinkler are open. And the props,

"What happened here?" Her light voice aches the boys heart. Ellie was holding a burnt basketball. He was worried, though. About their break up and how she would take it.

"Hey, everything's gonna be alright." Ty comforts the blonde girl. Ricky was thankful for Ty for not leaving Ellie's sight. But they both know it won't make the pain go away.

The reason why he did that, because he fears that the two of them rushes things. He didn't want that. And one of the reasons why he took such act is, because part of him feels like there's someone's holding him back. Whenever he and Ellie were together.  And Ricky knew what the reason is and he hated to admit that,

Maybe he wasn't totally moved on with her.

Which made it a lot worse on his part. He just realized it this holiday break that whenever he and Ellie were together. He would always glance around to find his best friend.

Nini.

"Truly, I complicate things..." he mutters as his eyes met props trying to sort things out on his head and of course, his heart.

Ellie sat in one of the chairs in the cafeteria, alone. Her hand in her gray coat warming itself. It has been like this, these past few days after their breakup. Wearing neutral clothes, sighs and drowning in the what ifs.

Her eyes find the boy whom she hurt. There he was all alone. She missed him, so badly. But after what happened, she tries to prevent herself to miss this boy. But she couldn't bring herself.

"Where's Gina?" Miss Jenn asked, anxiously.

"Well, Gina has been going through a family thing." Ashlyn answers and Ellie couldn't help but to feel sad for Gina. It has been tough for her also, the sudden leaving and all.

"You've all worked so hard, I've seen all of you grow so much. But if we don't have a theater there will be no show." more voices came after what came  as Miss Jenn announced. Ellie couldn't participate in any more noise since she's all tired.  With what minutes has passed, a familiar voice volunteer a venue that will solve the problem.

" How about the El Ray Theater? " Zenith pops into nowhere, which made all of the students glance at him. Ellie let out a breathe and closed her eyes and felt Ricky's gaze onto her.

"Don't you have a class or something?" Ty interrupts and after all the consideration they ended up with the shady and unused theater.

"Woahh, I never thought this place would be..."

"wide?" Zenith answered.

"Depressing?" Ty made a sarcastic comment to the British boy. Ellie made a look at Ty who just shook it away. Zenith helped Ellie to carry one of the heavy boxes.

"Thanks by the way, for allowing us to settle our show here." Ellie thanked Zenith which made him smile at how progress he's making.

"No problem, L." which made Ellie uncomfortable about their nicknames.

"You know we shouldn't stick to that nickname anymore right?" Zenith made an embarrassing sound which made Ellie turn to the boy.

"I know, but I want to give this a shot."

"And you know what my answer will be, Zenith." Ellie finished. The two of them stayed like that for a few minutes and it was Ellie who broke away leaving Zenith carrying the heavy boxes.

"H-Hey, could you help--"

"Oh right, sorry." Ellie laughed.

🌼🌼🌼

"Troy and Gabriella, find some quiet and run the rooftop scene. It's been a while and I need you opening night by midnight." Miss Jenn instructs the cast. Ricky and Nini nodded.

"Ellie and Zenith could you to help Big Red with the props?" Ellie and Zenith stared at each other for a moment. Ellie was about to speak up about doing something else but Miss Jenn already left. Leaving the two of them making their way to the boy whose studying all the lighting and stuff.

" Hey Big Red, need a hand there?" Ellie asked.

"Miss Jenn assigned us to do the props--"

"Oh, the props were all in the vacant room."

"Uhm...which room?"

"Oh! The room that has a red door." and the two headed at the room.

"I don't think you should pull... that." it was too late Zenith already pulled one of the wires which made it tangled more.

"Here, let me." Ellie pulled the wires and instructs Zenith to check all of the props if theyre can be used. Silence consume the two.

It was making Zenith uncomfortable since he could sense Ellie was not well and all. Because of him. She wasn't wearing that bright and warm aura.

"Hey..." Zenith sat in front of the girl and he saw her eyes were gleaming.

" You okay?" Ellie nod but he could see how badly she wanted to cry.

"Ellie, I'm still me. You can use my shoulder to--" then all tears continuously to fall which made Zenith taken aback.

"I don't know-- I screw things up, badly." she sobs as she continue to uncoil the wire. Ellie struggles to do it but it comforts her at some point. Zenith listens to every word that came out of her mouth.

"I just kept one secret from him and it destroyed what we have... And it's all because of my fault."

"Ellie, come on--"

"It's true! I hate myself for not telling him about what we have in the past."

"Why didn't you..." It was Ellie's turn to look at Zenith with such interest.

"I..."

🌼🌼🌼

Zenith stood there, alone. Staring at the untangled wire which Ellie successfully did it. He shook his head at the girl who just cried on his shoulders earlier.

The old Ellie James.

Who loved him more than herself. Who he just broke last three year, now all whole and brighter than before.

She really shines when she's with him, huh?

More than last three years ago.

"Eleanor James, I wish you all the best." he gazes at the wire and remembers her smile one last time.
