ELLIE LET OUT A NERVOUS BREATH AND WALKED IN. The light strikes her eyes but that didn't stop her. She turns and closed her eyes. Her skater skirt flew as she walks in as she turns like a princess twirling with her knight.

And with that very moment, she sang. It might be her first and last time to sing in so many people since she would be studying her way through the years.

Who's Ellie James?

Everything came as if it was a beautiful dream. The bright spot light almost blinded her.

Ellie saw her Mom and Dad watching her happily and as if taking off her cape and spread her wings. As she reach her high notes. She smiled widely as she dance with the others. She could feel her heart beating through her chest.

What is this feeling?

The feeling like you just wanted to stay there at that very moment and not face the reality.

A sudden feeling pangs her vulnerable heart at that very moment. The feeling was different. Unlike what she feel towards Ricky. Every word that Ellie sang, made her heart flutter.

This is why...

She smiled at EJ whom she partnered with. The two of them danced and enjoyed the moment. She will miss this...

But then,

I love you, Ellie James.

It all came to her, bittersweet came. She almost let go of the music sheets, luckily EJ grab a hold of it. At that moment EJ saw her the girl's brown eyes with full of feelings, that made him caught off guard. She heaved a sigh as she went backstage after performing their part. Her eyes were glossy because of what she remembered.

Ricky

They kissed.

Just in time for Ricky to come out the stage, he glance at the blonde girl. Seeing Ellie not okay made him worry. He was about to come at her but EJ dragged him to the stage.

The musical are going on well as Ellie could put it. Gina is back and everyone was all hyped up because of it. Since her part were all done, she helped the others with the props and all. It was the part of Troy's "Getcha head in the Game"

Ellie was helping Ashlyn to find her glasses. They searched for it everywhere only to be found by Ellie. Behind all of the makeup. Ashlyn thanked her.

But then she heard a long pause at the stage. Which made her glance, she saw Ricky froze at the air and was about to shoot the ball. But at some point he couldn't.

Worry pangs her heart for him. As Ricky struggles to remember the steps as if he had forgotten everything that he should do.

"Hey, Ellie." EJ approaches the blonde girl, who was all alone fixing the props. Those brown eyes before with full of wonder, are wrapped eloquently.

"Hi ." she breathes as if she hadn't expected him to approach her at this very intense moment. She waited for him to utter a word but nothing came.

"Uhm... Hey, do you need something?" that snapped EJ to reality.

"Nothing. I just came to ask if you're okay." EJ finally said, making Ellie an unexpected look. Ellie was about to speak but interrupting them, Ricky went backstage shaking anxiously. There he saw the two talking, Ellie and EJ.

"I can't do this." Ricky took off his Jersey which made Ellie look away to her surprise.

"What's wrong, Ricky?" EJ asked worrily.

"You need to do the second act." Ellie and EJ was caught off guard.

"What do you mean--"

"There's someone in the audience that could change Nini's life. And I can't --"

"EJ could you give us a moment." EJ nodded and left the two. Ellie noticed that Ricky's hands were shaking. As if she was put into a room where there's a fragile little thing that scares you to do something that would make him feel bad.

"I-- my Mom is there a-and the--" Ricky's voice cracked. Then, it hit Ellie.

Ellie was about to say something when she realized Ricky was gazing at her. Ellie breathe and took a step closer to Ricky.

"Hey... We've talked about this--" Ellie saw the hurt in his eyes which made her heart sink. Despite what happened, Ellie still care for Ricky.

"I--I almost ruined our show and--" Ricky stammers. He was sweating, and some of his hair stick on his temple. Ellie's hands meet his damp curly strand and shoved it away, allowing her to see his clear hazel brown eyes. She could see the pain in it.

"You didn't, Ricky... You have no idea how well you did. You were fantastic and" Ellie breath as she try to put everything into words.

"Remember what I said to you? It's better to make our love ones happy and feel love than to feel nothing at all." Ellie smiled,sadly. Ellie found it ironic advising him about what's she's exactly doing these couple of days, after what he's done.

"Ellie--"

" Ricky, I know you did this for someone you love. That love, use that..." Ellie think of the person was Nini. Because she knew what this play meant to her and as for Ricky. His hands touches her, he let out a weak smile because she allowed him to touch her. He missed her...so much.

" I believe in you... Troy Bolton." as if with a snap his lips pressed onto hers. Ellie was astounded but recovered quickly and tiptoed. His hands was on her waist pulling her closer to him. Ellie's hand tucks to his curly hair remembering how soft they were. They lean unto each other, breathing one's air. Ricky smiled to her lips as he felt that feeling once again. Her touch, which made his heart leaps faster than before.

"Thank you, my Gabriella." Ellie couldn't help but to make a face of how cheesy Ricky commented. With that, as if he's been boozed up and all. Ricky wore his Jersey and smiled at Ellie. Both hearts beating fast as they let go of each other. Ellie didn't realized how red her cheeks were after their kiss.

"Break a leg, Bowen." he nodded with a goofy grin.

"I don't mean literally. Just--good luck!" Ellie joked and waved at the boy. As the boy disappears, Ellie breathe as she could feel like someone was pressing her chest.

Then Ellie thought, this might be the last time she'll be able to be with this boy.

And it hurts to admit that... she will miss him.
