"YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'VE BEEN KNOCKED OUT BY HUNDREDS OF PANDA. AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU LOOK LIKE A PANDA TODAY." Cassie acknowledged as Ellie tried to stretch her arms up while they eat at the cafeteria. She was munching her peanut butter jelly sandwich while Ellie's food left untouched. Then she remembered Ty. If Ty was here he would have made her eat all of her food.

And Ty would probably have a good advice on the situation that she's into.

"I'll take that as a compliment since pandas are cute." Ellie laid her chin on her hands as she stared at the kid whom she just tutored earlier.

She had no one to talk to. Hangout with. And especially she wanted to tell everything that is bothering her.

Her Dad.

And Ricky.

Ellie quickly shook the thought away. About what happened the other night. Familiar vanilla scent of her room in a cold night, tiredness consuming her, heart beating hysterically while her lips pressed on Ricky's soft lips.

"Ughhhh! Why can't I just have one day not thinking about it?!" making Cassie yelp in surprise at Ellie's reaction.  Messing her hair up and looking bothered.

"Hey, wha—"

"Cassie, you said that you like a particular person if you think about them nonstop, right?" Cassie left surprised at what Ellie just asked. Ellie can't take any longer about what happened the other night and how she should react about it. And how she would confront Ricky today.

" What if... There's a reason as to why you're thinking about him?" Cassie set down her food and sat closer to Ellie looking excited.

"Why? What did the two of you do?" Making Ellie became flustered and shook her head. And drank water not wanting to answer her question.

"So there's really something between you and Ricky, huh?" Ellie almost coughed the water at what Cassie asked.

"I knew it! So... What happened?" Ellie was reluctant about it. But the looks of it, of being advice by a 15 year old girl about crushes was the only choice that she has. Since she had no one to talk about it and ask some advice.

Sure, there's Ty but of course. He would be the last person who wants to hear about it.

"We... kissed?" the last word almost came out like a question to Ellie but Cassie's hearing was so great that she almost repeated the word loudly causing some students turn to their table.

Ellie gave an apologetic smile and nod to the students and removed her hand on Cassie's mouth. Her eyes widened but for a few seconds Ellie received an excited smile with a bunch of questions.

"I don't know..."was all Ellie could say.

" I have no idea what to do now. "Ellie admitted.

" So how was it? " Ellie gave Cassie a look but then answered her question.

" Surprising..." that was the first word that pops into her head.

"Oh my, I'm so jealous! Wait! Hold on. If am I correct Ricky joined the musical for Nini, right?" Ellie was surprised as Cassie put the pieces together that things that confuse Ellie the whole day. It shocks Ellie that Cassie know so many things. Ellie just nodded.

" Then... Why would he kiss you? If he is pursuing someone? "Ellie just nodded tiredly. Not wanting to answer her question since it was giving her a head ache and a mild weird feeling in her chest. She didn't like it, though.

" He's a confusing kid. "

" He's older than you, Cassie. " Ellie laughed at how mature Cassie talks.

" But why would he kiss you if—then what are you planning to do about it?"

"I have no idea. Maybe I'll just ignore him the whole day and think about it." Cassie shook her head disapprovingly.

"Are you sure you can do that?" Cassie asked Ellie. Cassie knew that Ellie like Ricky at some point. Because Ellie wouldn't be somewhat excited and glad when she shared about the kiss but then replaced by a hint of sadness and disappointment when Cassie asked about Ricky and Nini.

Then Cassie's eyes met the tall guy with curly brown hair making its way on their table. Ellie was busy thinking about the kiss and all not noticing that  the guy whom she likes gave her a tap on her one shoulder. Her mind was still on one question that her mind realized earlier as she woke up in the morning.

"Do I really like Ricky Bowen?"

"Ellie, there's someone who wants to talk to you." Ellie snapped out to reality. Meeting Cassie's excited eyes and her hands pointing someone behind her.

It was Ricky.

"Uhm... Can I talk to you?" Ellie couldn't utter a word and gulped. Then her heart beats so fast once again like the other night. Allowing her to remember his lips. And all the things she's trying so hard to dodge came back at her.

But still there's a brink of hope residing on her heart.

"Hey..."

"Hey..." awkward silence consumed the two of them after that. Ricky had no idea how to shook the awkwardness of his shoulder as he tried to explain to Ellie. He's responsible for what he has done.

"How was home?" Ellie asked with worry in her eyes. Ricky was more than glad of allowing him to stay at their house. It gave him more time to think.

"It was alright..."

"Look, about last night..." Ellie braced herself and especially her heart.

As Ricky spoke, what Ricky did was unacceptable he thought. Ellie knew that Ricky is pursuing his plan on rekindling his relationship with Nini. But part of him, didn't regret the kiss.

 That made him bewildered.

But then it was not fair to Ellie. And Ricky knew Ellie likes someone else. And it's not him.

"Could you forget about last night?"

She shouldn't be even surprised about this but Ellie was surprised and perceive a throbbing through her chest.

"It's totally unacceptable. I'm sorry on how I acted the other night." Ellie's heard a slight rift on her chest. This was the very first time Ellie felt this and she had no idea how to deal with the unsettling dismay in her heart.

"I hope you can forgive me?" Ricky asked whilst biting the side of her cheeks as the mild pain in her chest continues. Ellie waited for Ricky to continue explaining and waited somehow an additional sentence or phrases that her heart was looking forward to.

But no sentence, phrases or even word escapes.

Though, sadness and disappointment surges in Ellie but at some point she was glad. At least, Ellie knew what Ty felt.

To be filled with such wonderful anticipation but left empty.
