ELLIE STOOD IN FRONT THE ENTRANCE OF THE AUDITORIUM WHILE BITING HER NAILS. Her mind contemplating whether to twist the door knob and have that commitment on her chest til this school year. She remembered the day she received the message from St. Vlaire University. Its one of the college universities that Ellie applied. But after receiving that message she doesn't want to set a foot on that university.

The reason that led her to be in a position like this is because Tiberius witnessed the slight panic that Ellie experienced when she received the messaged.

Ty pointed the zillions of reason why she should join the musical. At first Ellie declined because she don't want to be in a musical let alone showcasing her inexperience in singing and cues on a musical.

But after all the convincing she gave up.Ellie wondered why Ty is giving such effort on convincing her to join the High School Musical. But she was so busy being consumed by the preparation and nervousness for her audition. Still, she wasn't sure about this idea.

"This is a bad idea." for the hundredth time Ellie backed herself.

What am I even doing?, Ellie thought.

Ellie felt the burden on learning about the cues of a musical. She studied about it all weekend. Just to know the basic cues and all. Though, that didn't give her any comfort.

"Am I really doing this?" then she remembered the orange ukelele that she had under her bed. She remembered playing it while singing with her ex-best friend. He told her to continue to play and practice.

Ellie closed her eyes shut. Remembering playing the ukelele with her ex-best friend. Then all of the memories came back to her. Truly being deeply and widely happy has a cost.

Ellie sighed and opened her eyes. She reminded herself the main reason why she's all doing this. For Flora. And also for her future.

"You can do this. You're just gonna walk yourself there a-and—I can't do this." Ellie was about to take a step back but she was stumbled by a figure behind her. She gasped in surprise as the person behind her was able to catch her.

"Oh my goodness, are you okay?" she recognized the the gentleness through his voice. It was the guy at the rooftop. Ricky.

"Oh. Heey."

"Hey."

"Lucky I caught you on that fall." Ricky grinned.

"W-What are you doing here?" Ellie regained her composure and unexpectedly her eyes landed on his hand carrying a case guitar.

"Are you gonna audition too?" the two of them asked in chorus. Both of them were surprised.

"You first?"

"You first."

Ricky chuckled making Ellie blushed furiously. Because it was the first time she saw him face to face smiling. Because the last time she met him he was sitting beside her. Ellie was only able to see the side profile.

Ellie couldn't admit that he was pretty good looking. He got the looks, Ellie was sure that Ricky can get a role on the Musical. Even the lead one.

"Yeah. I guess so."Ellie said tucking her fingers with her sweater.

"Nervous?" Ricky couldn't help but to ask. Because he was nervous also. Ellie nodded. The two of them stood in front of the door of the auditorium.
