Steve's POV

I was tied to a chair once again. It had been about two days since I was first taken. I looked around the room, I saw six chambers that looked like test tubes, there was a chair in the middle of them. It looked eerily familiar. I finally remembered what this place reminds me off, this was the same base that Bucky was held in for so many years and where the other five super soldiers were held and also killed. I tried my best to get the ropes off of me but there was no use. So I gave up and just looked around the room to see if there was anything small I could grab to cut myself loose but I saw nothing. Before I could fully turn around I heard a door open. I saw Mr. Bennett walk in with Mr. Turner right behind him.

They were talking to one another in a low voice, I tried my best to make out what they were talking about but all I heard was "What will we do with him now?" Mr. Bennett walked over to me and tugged on the ropes, "Well, we will have to make sure his friends follow a false trail so they don't find him." Mr. Turner nodded, "Then what? Go forward with our plan? They will find him soon, so we have to work fast." Mr. Bennett whipped around, his hands were in a fist. Just by his posture he looks mad. "You don't think I know that? Do you think of me as an idiot?" He yelled. "No Sir." Mr Turner said. "I know that Tony Stark is smart, I know that he will find him but after what happened in Germany I don't think Steven here will be of the highest priority for him." He turned around looking down at me, "Isn't that right Captain?" He questioned

I didn't know what to say since Tony wouldn't even know that I was missing unless Sam or Nat have told him. He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him, "Answer the question Captain." He said in a stern voice. "Frankly, I don't think Stark will be much help for me..." I said in a quiet voice. He laughed, letting my chin go he walked over to a control panel. "You don't seem to have much hope Captain. That is good. Your friends will never find you here. They would never go back here after what you did." I looked down at my feet, "They wouldn't look for me anyway. I am a fugitive, the only people looking for me is the UN and they don't even know this place exists. So...do what you want. It is not like I have much hope getting free from you." I felt tears sting the back of my eyes, 'Why am I thinking like this? Why am I telling them I won't fight back? What am I doing?'

When I looked up again I saw some lights on and the cryo chambers were illuminated. Looking at them closely I could still see the other soldiers that they had, blood was on the glass and along their faces. One quick glance you would think some are alive since their eyes were opened. Mr. Turner walked over to the only that was opened, he flicked a few switches and the glass closed. A white fog filled the tube making it hard to even see the restraints on the inside. He then opened it back up and nodded to Mr. Bennett who was looking at the chair in the center of the room.

"The chamber works perfectly. Anything you want me to do?" Mr. Turner asked, walking over the Mr. Bennett. "Yes, go get the book." Mr. Turner tilted his head, "But sir, the book was taken, remember." Nodding his head Mr. Bennett walked over to him, "I know but it is on the mountain near the clift. Find it and bring it back. Understood?" Mr. Turner looked at the floor and back at him, "Understood sir." He turned on his heel and walked out the door.

Looking over to me, Mr. Bennett smiled. "You know what the book has in it yes?" He asked. I shook my head, "No. I never had a chance to even look in it. Never even had the chance to even hold it." He walked over to another control panel, he started pushing some buttons. "Well Captain. I am sure you know that a string of words will turn your friend into the Winter Soldier." He looked over at me hoping I would answer, I just nodded. "Well there is more than one way to turn a soldier and we are going to be using one of them on you." I moved my arms and tried to get out of the ropes but like before there was no use.

He laughed as he walked over to me. "Oh Captain, please, do stop trying to get out. There is no use you should know that." He grabbed the two ends of the rope and pulled on them. I hissed as the ropes got tighter, I felt my hands start to go numb. He gripped my chin so I was forced to look at him. "Listen here. You will do as I say or you are walking out of here in a body bag. Do you or do you not understand me?" He questioned tightening his grip on my chin. I couldn't say anything so I just nodded. The door opened and Mr. Turner walked back in holding a snow covered book. "I found the book sir." Mr. Bennett let me go and snatched the book out of his hands. "This is perfect! Now, let's get things started shall we?"
