Steve's POV
My head was throbbing, my arms and legs were numb and I couldn't hear anything because of the ringing in my ears. I wanted to move but something was preventing me. "Ah how are you doing Captain?" Mr. Bennett asked me. "I am doing fine sir." I answered immediately. "That is good. Now Captain please, follow me." I stood up and followed him out. We walked into the main part of the building. Mr. Bennett walked over to a control panel and started to push a few buttons. "How about you sit down Captain." I sat down and watched as a few other people walked in. "Sir, we have a problem." One of them said.
Mr. Bennett growled, "What is the problem?" Mr. Turner walked over to him, "Mr. Stark managed to locate where we are keeping the Captain. We have to relocate him, we can't risk him finding him." Mr. Bennett slammed his hands down on the control panel, "This can't be happening! Captain," I stood up, "Go take care of Iron man when he gets here. Do you understand?" I nodded and I walked through the entire building until I reached the front door. Putting in the pass code I heard someone walking outside. I quickly ran behind some boxes so I wouldn't be seen.
I heard the door open, "Ok we need to split up, Nat go right, Sam go left and I'll go to the main part of the building." I heard them rush off in different directions. I followed Iron Man, keeping my distance making sure that I wasn't covering the light to make a shadow. He opened a few doors as if looking for something. He got to a door and walked in, I quickly ran over and caught the door before it closed. He looked around and I slowly closed the door on him, standing in front of it so he couldn't escape.
He turned around ready to leave when he froze. "Steve?" I tilted my head at him, "Who the hell is Steve?" I asked walking towards him. He started to back away from me, "You are. Steve what the hell is wrong with you?" He backed into the wall behind him, whipping his head back and forth looking for some sort of exit. I laughed, "The only way out is the way you got in." I walked a little closer to him, he immediately lifted his hands, "Don't you dare take another step. I don't know what is wrong with you but I don't like this."
I froze, I don't know why but I just, froze. He lowered his hand a little, "Wait you are not going to move closer because I said not to?" He questioned. I shook my head and took a hold of his arm and flung him into a nearby filing cabinet. He groaned and tried his best to stand up, I pinned him down with my shield, "You know, this is interesting. Hurt from one little throw, I thought you were the Indestructible Iron Man, yet here you are pinned at my hand." He tried his best to get up but I pushed him down once again, "Don't you dare get up." I growled at him. I felt something graze my leg, when I looked down I saw a blade sticking out. I backed away, Iron Man stood up and retracted his balde, "Ok fine but fix your leg work first. Idiot." He mumbled the last part. I pulled my gun out and pointed it at his head, "Call me an idiot again, let us see where that gets you." He raised his other hand. "You. Are. An. Idiot."
Annoyed, I fired my gun, the bullet rickashay off his helmet hitting a nearby window. I dodged his two shots, they both hit the wall behind me. I managed to run up behind him and I sliced my shield into his back, causing sparks to fly out of his armor. He fell to his knees his armor stalled, I hit the back of his helmet with my shield, he fully hit the ground with a loud *clank*. When I heard footsteps running towards the door, ran out and back to the main part of the building.
When I arrived I saw that no one was around. Walking around I saw the door to the hanger open. I was about to walk in when I heard people running over so I hid behind one of the cryo chambers. "You sure it was him?" I heard a female say. "I am positive. But his eyes were red and his skin was pale." Iron Man replied. Someone must have thrown something across the room because I heard a loud thud, "Where the hell did he go now?" I moved to hide behind another cryo chamber so I could see where they were going. Iron Man picked up a broken tablet from the ground, "I don't know but looks like someone else was here." He dropped the tablet and continued to walk around.
They all walked around looking at everything. I wanted to fight them but I heard a voice over my com, "Don't worry about them, get over to the plane, we are leaving." I growled, "Understood sir." I quietly ran out of the building, When I reached the plane I noticed the door was opened, I didn't bother to question it and walked in. "Hello Captain. Glad you could make it before we took off. Is everyone still in the building?" I nodded. "Good, now let's get going." I sat down, I felt pain in my leg, looking down I saw blood falling onto the floor.
I hissed at the sight and stood up to get the first-aid kit. "What happened to you?" Mr. Bennett asked. "Iron Man got my leg, that was about it." I said before tending to my wound. "Here let me help you." Mr. Bennett walked over and took the bandages from my hands. He started to wrap it up before he stopped, "Hand me the tweezers." I did as I was told and handed it to him. He placed them at the bottom of the cut, I winced in pain as he pulled out part of Iron Man's armor. "Fascinating." He stated before putting it down on the table. Tilting my head I stared at him, "What is fascinating sir?" He pulled on the bandage so it was tighter. While he was wrapping medical tape on it he started to talk. "He thought that a little tracker could help him find you, but he didn't bury it far enough for it not to be seen." He looked up at me, "Where did the blade come from?" I thought about it for a second, "It came from his armor, but the funny thing is, it was like it came from nowhere." He finished wrapping my leg up. "Even more fascinating."
He stood up and sat down in the seat diagonal from me, "Next mission you go on, which is not now, go into the tower and steal his armor specs. They might be useful for us later on in the years." I nodded and looked at the ceiling, I noticed my vision going black, Mr. Bennett noticed me about to pass out, "It is probably from the blood loss, it will be fine captain. Get rest." With that my vision went fully black and I finally passed out.
