Tony's POV

I flung a wrench across my lab. It hit some components to a project I was working on. "Tony." I heard Natasha walk in, "You should not be throwing things out of frustration, if you do, you won't have any tools to work with." I sighed and placed my head in my hands, "I know...I just..." I drifted off. After a few seconds I managed to find my words, "I just want to find him. I know that he might hate me but I need to make things right with us, I messed up and so did he...well mostly him but that doesn't matter right now."She raised an eyebrow, hoping I would speed up my pity party. "Point is. He doesn't deserve to be treated like this or to even be driven away because he thinks I hate him. I am close to finding him which is good but Hydra is good at throwing me off their trail. The closest I have gotten was a little village in Russia. Mind checking it out to see if you can find anything?"
Nat sat down in front of me. She placed her hand on my leg, "Tony, I will but you need to get some rest. Have Sam take over, he helped a lot the last time. Send me the coordinates of the village, I'll see what I can find." I nodded, placing my own hand on top of her's. "Get Sam. I know better than to argue with you. Also here is a flash drive with the coordinates on it. Go whenever you have the chance." She smiled at me. "Now get rest you have been working all day!" Grabbing my hands she dragged me up from my seat and pulled me towards the door. "Sam is already on his way over so you go to your room." She continued to drag me over to the elevator. "I bet Steve would like to be found by someone who is ready to fight instead of falling asleep." I was about to question what she said but she pushed me into the elevator, ran in and pushed the button for my floor then ran back into my lab.

I leaned up against the wall of the elevator trying not to fall over from exhaustion. I watched as the numbers went up. As the doors opened, I felt a pain in my stomach, like someone punched me. I fell to the ground trying to catch my breath, something wasn't right. I managed to get up before the doors closed. I staggered over to the couch before falling down, "Jarvis, what happened to me. Was it the reactor?" I questioned. "No sir. The reactor is completely fine. I think you are just stressed. Along with that you are also starving." I realized that I am hungry.. "I think you are right Jarvis, thanks for reminding me. If you hadn't I would have starved to death.."

As I waited for my AI to respond I walked over to my kitchen. I opened the fridge looking to see what I had, "Sir," I jumped at the sudden voice over me. "I do recommend you eat an actual meal instead of a bowl of mac and cheese." I rolled my eyes, "Thank you captain obvious!" I yelled at my ceiling. I pulled out a container of leftover lasagna that Nat made yesterday for us. I plated it and put it into the microwave for about three minutes and thirty seconds. After a few seconds, Sam ran in with an excited expression on his face. "What is up with you?" I questioned. He smiled, making me kind of concerned. "I think you found Steve."

My jaw dropped open, "What?!" I half yelled. He ran over and stood in front of me, "The village in Russia that you think he is, it is near the same base that Hydra kept Bucky in for all of these years. If they were going to bring him somewhere I bet it would be there! Nat is going to look around like you asked but if he is there, she will find him." I didn't know what to say or even do so I stared at him until something came to mind. "Sam. Do you really think they would bring him there?" He lost his smile, "Tony, why are you asking that?" I looked down at my hands, my knuckles were white from me gripping the side of the counter, "What if they want us to think that he is there but in all reality he is somewhere completely different. This is Hydra we are talking about, they will try and throw us off their trail. Hell even if Steve is there they will probably kill him before we can get to him." He looked a little concerned, even I could hear the panic in my voice. "Tony. We won't let them do that. I promise you, we will get him back." Sam walked over and hugged me, "Don't worry. Also your food is done."

He let me go and I turned around to the beeping microwave, opening it I pulled out the plate of lasagna and half slammed it and half placed it down. "Just..find him. I want to make up for what I have done, and if he won't be a selfish prick then maybe he would do the same." All Sam did was shake his head and walked to the elevator again, "Get rest Tony! We will head out in the morning!" He yelled before the doors closed. I sighed, 'Why the hell am I getting so mad? I have no reason to get mad!' I thought as I ate my lasagna. 'This is going to be a fun trip..' I finished my meal before getting changed and going to bed. 'Will Steve even care that I just saved him or will he just yell at me again?' That one sentence was the only thing going through my head as I drifted off to sleep.

*Jump to next day*

I woke up to Sam and Nat talking outside my room. I groaned and stood up, walking towards the door I heard them talking about the plan to get Steve back. I opened the door and they both stopped and looked at me. "Hey Tony, how are you feeling today?" I walked over to the kitchen and picked up an apple. "Hi, I am fine. I just wish I could have gotten better sleep but in the end I'll live. So what is the plan for today? When are we leaving?" I questioned as I bit into the apple. Nat walked over and sat at the counter. "Well we are going to leave in about two hours so get dressed and get everything you need. When you are ready we will be in the hanger." She said as Sam walked over as well. "We will explain everything else when you are ready. Also if you are ready early we will leave then." I nodded, "Alrighty. I'll meet you guys there." They both walked off and I started to go over to my lab.

Walking in I picked up my tablet. I started to look through the different suits I had. After about ten minutes I chose Model 38, aka the Bleeding Edge Armor, one of the best suits I had. I kept the suit in mind as I changed out of my pajamas. I picked out a black t-shirt, blue jeans and some black sneakers. "Hey FRIDAY, can you make sure my suit is still intact and if it is not then can you fix it up for me please. Thank you" Looking through my table again I heard FRIDAYS voice, "Sir, the suit is ready and I am sending it up now." Looking over to the pods I saw the model I wanted appear. I called the suit over to me, I watched as it disassembled itself and flew over to me in small pieces. I got pushed back from it congregating around my arc reactor. I looked down to see that everything was in place, when I was satisfied I walked out of my lab down to the hanger.

Nat and Sam were walking around the hanger either looking at their laptops or making sure that everything was in order. "Hey guys, is everything set?" I asked walking over. Nat looked up at me, "Yep, everything is in order, we were just waiting on you. Everything in order with you?" She questioned. I nodded, "Yep everything is fine with me so when are leaving?" Sam placed his tablet on the table, "We can leave now if you like." He walked over to the quinjet with Nat on his heel. I shrugged and followed them into the quinjet, "Alright lets get going. Long long until we get there?" Nat took a seat and looked at the computer, "We will be arriving in about twenty minutes." Sam looked over to me, "We will get there in time Tony, don't worry. Besides if they need Steve they won't kill him so we will be fine." I sat down and relaxed, "Thanks Sam. Now I am going to relax, tell me when we are ten minutes out." I layed down and closed my eyes.
