If I thought last year was bad, I'm going soft. And that is not good.

Snipe has just announced our lovely second challenge. Hide and seek, with a disturbing twist.

Basically, two students are tied together at hand and foot, right? So, half of the students are gonna be seekers, and the other half hiders. If you get found, that's your points gone to the people who found you; however for every minute you stay hidden, you get 50 points, to stay in the game.

Lovely. LOVELY.

THIS IS ALL I FUCKING NEED IN LIFE.

I turn to Kirishima expectantly, only to meet his uncomfortable gaze.

"(Y/N), no hard feelings, but I don't think we should go together." He mumbles, looking as guilty as hell.

My face falls, "Why not?"

"We'll have lots of points if we do, that'll make us a big target. I suggest someone like Midoriya." Kirishima offers, smiling at me.

I nod; that does make sense. I turn around, looking for that familiar green mop, but not before wishing Kirishima good luck, as Mina immediately calls dibs on him and drags him off.

As I search, I happen to completely by accident catch the eyes of Katsuki, who is clearly partnerless and looking pissed, as usual.

When he glances at me, I duck away, merging with the crowd.

Fuck, he saw me.

Midoriya, where are you?!

Before I can take another step, my wrist is suddenly in a tight grasp.

"Oi, Frizzy."

Oh no you don't mister, you told me that—!

"Listen. I'm only partnering up with you because there's no one else who wants to be with me. Got that?!"

I try and tug myself away, extremely furious at the stunt he's pulling.

"Are you fucking with me?! Who said I wanted to be with you?! I'm going with Midoriya, you jackass!"

His glare becomes even more vicious, "Deku?! Why would anyone ever want to be with him?!"

"Because he's not like you!" I yell, loosing my patience all over again.

There's a silence, as he growls angrily, and I stare annoyedly back at him.

He's the one who said he didn't want to talk anymore. He'll get that. Dirty bastard.

"... you can't partner up with Deku anyway," Katsuki finally says, after a pause. "First of all because you would have too many points, and second of all, Round Face has already snatched him."

"What?!" I whip around, and sure enough, Uraraka is smiling as she binds her and Midoriya together. I physically deflate. "Oh for fuck's sake..."

With effort, I turn grimly back to Katsuki. "Fine. I'll put up with you for just this once."

"You're acting as if you're the one who's going to be annoyed!"

"I am! With you and your loudmouth we'll be found in thirty seconds!"

We both glare at each other, before he aggressively grabs a rope and start binding us together.

"We have to find a fucking hiding spot," he growls, making the rope in my wrist deliberately tight. I wince, and try and loosen it slightly.
