A/n: this is going to be the final arc of this book, just warning ya'll.
The arc's name is "Daffodils" and for a very specific reason.
I'll be using real countries to explain a fiction war here, with Iraq, Iran and America. So if you're very patriotic or don't like criticism about those countries, I suggest you don't read this arc. I am not saying that any of these countries are bad, but people from these countries will be committing war crimes.
I'll also be dissing the confederates and the all lives matter movement. You've been warned.

"(L/N), Bakugo," I jump at the sound of Mr Aizawa's voice, at the classroom doorway. He gestures with his head. "I need to talk to you about something."

Woah, this early in the morning? What have I done now?

We both stand up, and walk out of the classroom together. Outside, Mr Aizawa shuts the door, causing me to frown. Is it really that secretive?

"All right," he mutters. "I'll get straight to the point; there are some government officials here to see you both. They want you to take up a mission."

I choke on my own spit, and Katsuki narrows his eyes. "What kind of mission?" he asks gruffly.

"We'll discuss that in the conference room." As Mr Aizawa walks away, he spares a glance at my shaken figure, and softens slightly. "Don't worry, I'll be there."

I nod quietly, and then Katsuki and I follow him down the corridors, and then enter a large room, with three people inside; two men and one woman, all in formal wear, and all looking equally serious.

As I seat myself at the table, in between Katsuki and Mr Aizawa, my hands involuntarily curl against the fabric covering my thighs. Katsuki glances at me, takes note of my discomfort, and then moves his own hand so it's sitting gently over mine. I release a shaky breath, some of my anxiety dispelling.

"I'll get straight to the point," one of the men says, peering at us from over the top of his glasses. "We would like you two to be bodyguards for one of our important information sources."

"Information sources?" Katsuki questions bluntly, and I hold back a gasp at his boldness.

The people mutter amongst themselves, before turning back to us. "I understand you remember the Iran-Iraq-American war that happen ten years ago?"

"... no?" I ask weakly.

"We learnt it in history class you idiot!" Katsuki shouts, "Do you ever pay attention?!"

The woman sighs, setting a folder on the table. "In simple terms, the Iran-Iraq-American war was when tensions between Iran and America escalated into war. However instead of being sensible, both countries decided to use Iraq as their battle playground, and wrecked the country all over again. America won, but there were great amounts of casualties on either side. Though the Iraqi citizens suffered the most damage by a landslide.

"One of the American generals fled here, from Iraq, and since then, he's been a vital information source for any American spy rings in Japan. His name," she slides the folder across the table to us, and Katsuki picks it up and opens it, "is General Henry Johnson. His codename, which you will be using, is Karasuma Aka. Recently, he's been feeling as if he's being watched. We want you two to go down to his house, and see if anything's actually wrong."

"Shouldn't this be a job for Japanese intelligence rather than students?" Mr Aizawa questions.

"Fighting villains isn't the only work Heroes do," the other man speaks up, "they're under government jurisdiction. Oh, and this isn't an offer... it's an order. The government wants this dealt with, and in order to keep a low profile, we'll use Hero students to not draw attention to the activity."
