----Katrina----

Brad arrived an hour later after taking the dogs for a walk.  "If you need me to go somewhere else, I can."

"No.  I want you to stay here."  I said.  He saw the bag from the pharmacy.  "When'd you go there?"

"This afternoon."

"I was there and I didn't see you."

"I slipped out before you could."  I said looking down.

"How sick do you feel?  What aren't you telling me?"

"I feel fine right now.  I'm just afraid you'll get mad at me for keeping it from you.  I wasn't trying to.  I wanted to be sure and I took the test.  It said I was and I didn't want you to hate me for going behind your back-,"  he stopped me with a kiss.

"I don't hate you.  I love you so much."  he whispered against my lips.  "Just don't shut me out okay?"  he said.  I showed him the test and he lifted me off my feet hugging me.  "We'll go see the pack doctor tomorrow."

That night, I was asleep on the couch, my head resting on Brad's chest.  His hand softly caressing my stomach.  He was so happy that he was going to be a father.  He was already looking at things for the baby.

The next day, after our doctor's appointment, we were at Brad's parents house.  I was in the kitchen talking to his mom and sisters and Brad was out in the garage talking to his dad and brother in laws.  "So, how far are you?  Did the doctor say?"

'Only two weeks."  I said.  They were looking at the ultrasound picture.

"Is Brad happy?"  his older sister asked.  She didn't like me very much and she really started to turn sour when she found out that I was pregnant.  She couldn't have kids, so she had some envy about the whole situation.

"He is.  He even started looking at stuff for the baby."

----Brad----

"Is Katrina happy?"  my dad asked.

"She really is.  She can hardly wait for us to find out the sex of the baby."

"That's good.  What about you?"

"Dad, I knew from the minute we started doing it, the chances were raised of her getting pregnant."

"Doing it with out protection?"

"Yes.  I didn't mean to forget it.  By the time I realized I forgot it was too late."

"She's going to be a fantastic mother."

"I know."  I looked up when I heard a car door close.  It was the couple claiming to be Katrina's parents.  I walked toward the front yard.  Max was growling from where he was sitting at on the porch.  "That's far enough."  I said.

"We came to talk to Katrina."

"She's busy right now."  my brother pulled up in his pick up and got out with his wife and kids.

"Hey, I heard my little brother and soon-to-be sister are having a baby."  the guy who supposedly is Katrina's father punch me hard in the face.  I hit the ground and he proceeded.  I heard Katrina's voice and saw Max trying to get to me.

"LET HIM GO!"  I heard Katrina yell at the guy posing as her father.  I saw her approaching.  My brother stopped her.  She would get hurt if she tried to interfere.  I kicked the guy in the stomach and it didn't phase him.

"Get her inside."  my dad ordered.  I saw the guy's eyes flash red.

"GO NOW!"  I said shoving the guy off me.  He crashed into the hood of their car.  Katrina went inside with my brother and Max and Zula followed.  The woman shoved me into the concrete.  I felt my shoulder get popped out of place, but ignored the pain for the sake of my future wife and child.  I shoved her off of me and my brother in laws helped me out.  The couple took off and my dad helped me inside.  "Baby, go into the kitchen."  I said.  "Just for a minute."  I said.
