---Alivia---
Randy was pacing back and forth. My stomach lurched. I threw up in the trash. "Ali?" my mom said from across the hallway.
"What's wrong with you now?" Randy asked.
"Nothing." I said. He grabbed my arm.
"Let me guess you're pregnant."
"Yes I am what's it to you?" I spat. My dad got in front of Randy.
"Let my daughter go." My dad growled trying to keep his wolf at bay.
An hour had passed and only 3 hours to go. I saw Riley through the window and he saw me. "I love you." he mouthed.
"I love you too." I whispered.
My mom and I were doing our rounds. Randy sitting out of sight of possible gunfire.
---Riley---
Two hours to go, I was cold but I didn't care. I had to make sure my wife was okay. "We have targeted the gunman."
"Aim steady gentlemen."
"They could get one of the hostages." I said.
"He's in plain sight. By himself." A shot was fired. I watched as it made it's impact.
"ALIVIA!" I bolted for the doors. Alivia hit the ground. "ALIVIA!" I made it inside. Randy had pulled her behind the counter but she had been shot only inches shy from her heart. I got beside Alivia. "Ali, talk to me. Ali. please." I begged.
"I wasn't going to shoot her. I swear to God. My little brother is in Children's ICU. It's $200,000 to get his name on the list. I didn't mean to pull the trigger on her dad. I swear to God." I looked up at him, he was crying.
"Stay down and help me get her to one of those rooms." I said. We got her to her parents.
"Ry..." she whispered.
"I'm right here Ali."
"The b-baby..." I looked up at her mom.
"She's pregnant." Randy stood up and went for the door.
"Randy, you getting yourself killed isn't going to save your little brother. Think about it. I honestly hate your guts for beating on Ali, but she could have been shot in the heart. Stay in here and we'll see what we can do all right?" he closed the doors, bullet proof glass.
"Brad, let's get her hooked up." her mom said we got her onto one of the beds. I held onto her hand. Her grip grew weaker and weaker.
"Ali, stay awake."
"H-hurts." she said.
"I know." her dad put her on oxygen. Her mom did an ultrasound and then blood covered the sheet.
"Miscarriage." her dad said quietly.
An hour passed, Alivia was recovering from surgery. Randy looked up when I came in. "Is she going to be okay?"
"Her mom and dad think so. She better be." I sat down. "I'm suing that damn police department. I fucking told them they would hit someone other than you and they fired anyway."
