It had been a whole year since I lost the baby.  Riley was at work and I had a day off.  I was sitting on the couch reading a book.  The girls were at school and Riley was going to bring them home.  I heard Riley's voice.  "Okay.  I'll be over to pick them up around 8."  he said just as he opened the door.  He walked in with his computer bag.

He set his keys down.  "Hello my beautiful wife."

"Hey handsome."  He gave me a kiss.

"How was the day to yourself?"  he asked.

"Fine.  I didn't do much."

"That's the point of a day off sweetness."  he said.  "Get ready to go baby.  I have dinner reservations."

"Where?"

"You'll see.  Nothing too fancy."

While he drove, his free hand was holding mine in my lap.  "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."  he said.

"Riley, I hate surprises."

"You'll love this one."  he said.  We got to a lake, he pulled into the grass and got out.  He walked around the truck and opened my door.  He helped me out.

"I thought you said we had dinner reservations."

"We do."  he said grinning.

He held my hand and led the way.  "Watch your step baby."  he said helping me over a branch.

"Where are we going?"  I asked, then I tripped.  He almost caught me.  "Great."

"It's okay, I have a pair of sweats in the tent."  he said helping me up.

"Tent?"

"Mom and dad are keeping the girls until tomorrow night.  You have the day off tomorrow too remember?  I want to treat my wife to a camping trip just the two of us."

"So you can seduce me."  I said making him smile.

"We both know you're seducable."  He said.  He unzipped the tent presenting an air matteress with blankets and pillows and a picnic basket resting in the middle of the bed.  "Enjoy the fresh air while you can."  he said with a grin.  "You're mine for the rest of the night."

That night, I was laying on the air mattress looking at the lake.  Riley was sitting beside me and rubbing my back.  "You need more time off more often."

"So Riley can play?"  I asked raising my eyebrow at him.  He smiled.

"As much as I like to play, you need to relax.  You work long hours and even when you're tired you try to help me at home.  You need to relax.  Your back is stiff."

"Make it better."  I said.  He grinned and grabbed his duffel bag.  He grabbed out some massaging oils.

"You know what to do."  he said.  I laughed.

After a back massage, a nap, and some lovemaking. I was asleep beside Riley.  The air matress was no where near as comfy as Riley, so I was practically laying on him.  He didn't care.

Morning came, I woke up, Riley was already awake.  I changed out of my pajamas and into a pair of jeans and my favorite sweatshirt from Riley.  I unzipped the tent.  Riley was making breakfast.  "What's for breakfast hubby?"
