Chapter 22

Emiko's POV

We have made it so far and we have finally gotten to one of our biggest worries.  Tomorrow we are going to go against Seijoh and it was making me nervous.  

Of course I really wanted the boys to win, but if they won that would mean that it would be Tooru's last match, and I didn't want that to be his last match, so I decided to stay with Tooru until the match.

Normal POV

"Hey Tooru," Emiko said as she opened  his door.

"Hi Emi-chan," He said as he was staring at his computer screen.

"Watcha' doin'?" She said as she put her head on his shoulder.

"You know, looking over old games," He said taking his headphones off.

"Come on relax, lets do something, its been forever since we have done anything together," Emiko said trying to drag him up off his chair.

"Fine fine fine," He said as he got up.

"So what do you want to do?" he asked.

"Movie Night!" she said pulling him downstairs to the living room.

"Go pick a movie, I'll go make the popcorn," She told him as she walked to the kitchen and made a big bowl of popcorn.

"Ta Da!" He said as reveled the movie and all the blankets. 

"Another alien movie?" she said as she raised her eyebrow and set the popcorn on the table.

"Hey, you said to pick the movie," He said pouting. 

"Shhh, the movies starting," she said picking her spot on the couch

"Hey Emiko," Tooru said in the middle of the movie.

"Hmm?" she replied still watching the movie.

"What if tomorrow is my last match?" he asked out of the blue.

She didn't reply for a few seconds.

"Don't think like that Tooru," she told him.

"But what if it is Emiko?" he insisted.

"Tooru, I believe in you, even if it is you can still play in collage and the V league, so please don't think like that,"

"But I really want to go to nationals,"

"I'm sorry Tooru, I really don't know what to say.  I know how much you want to go to nationals but same goes for the boys I'm managing right now," she told him.

"Hm, I understand," he said as he got up and went to his room.

Emiko's POV

'Did I make him mad?' I thought as I played with my fingers while sitting on my bed.

I know how hard he works to get to Nationals and this is his last chance but we have worked so hard.  I just hope he is okay.

Aigoo I haven't updated in so long and sorry that the chapter is bad and really short because I didn't really know what to write and I wanted to upload a chapter since I haven't in a while but at least season 4 came out!!
