Chapter 10

Emiko's POV

Today was the day.  It was the start of the Inter High competition.  I couldn't tell if they were excited, nervous, or a mixture of all of them.

Normal POV

(A/N: I'm gonna skip over a lot of the matches because that would mean that I would have to rewatch the anime like 20 more times)

After we beat Tokonomi and Date Tech the rest of the team was exhausted.  On the bus Emiko and Kageyama sat next to each other. (Also causing Tanaka and Nishinoya to become jealous)  Soon they became the first ones to fall asleep with Emiko's head resting on his shoulder and his head laying on top of hers, also with their hands very close to each other.  This action made the four third years (including Kiyoko) chuckle/giggle at there cuteness.  

Emiko's POV

When we arrived back at school we started our short meeting back at the gym.

"Be ready for tomorrow when we face Seijoh!" said Coach Ukai.

"And since they got to watch our match and see the skills of our libero and ace and we couldn't watch their match I have decided that it is only fair for us to know how my brother plays," I started.

"Be on your a game, stay sharp on receiving, don't underestimate his serves, and don't think all he can do is toss." I said glaring at to show how serious I was.

"Okay that is all!" I finished with a smile on my face making the others sweat drop.

I was walking home with Kageyama when a thought came onto my head.

"Hey I'm going this way today," I told him.

"Okay be safe," he said.

I peaked his lips before saying,

"Of course I will,"

I had decided to go to Seijoh to go meet with Tooru since he always does that with me.  But I felt like there was a pair of eyes watching me.  Now I could also hear someone's feet walking behind me.  I started to walk faster and I could hear their footsteps get quicker.  Then I went into full out run.  Seijoh was just around the corner when I heard

"Where do you think your going?" Said the man's voice.

It was to dark for me to clearly see the man but he sounded like he was in his 50s.  

I could feel tears running down my face while running then I could feel a sharp pain shoot through my ankle similar to the one I felt when walking home with Tooru.  I wanted to stop and and clutch my ankle but I knew that it wasn't that important  so I kept running.  But it still slowed me down.

When I got in front of Seijoh the man had caught up to me and grabbed by shoulder.

"You're going to stay with me missy," He said.

I was terrified.

"NO! GET OFF ME!"  I screamed as loud as I could hoping that someone from inside the gym could hear me.

Tooru's POV

We were still in the middle of our meeting when we all heard someone scream,

"NO! GET OFF ME!"

They sounded like they needed help.

"Hey Oikawa, that sounded like your sister," Iwa-chan said.
