Emiko's POV

It was finally December which meant it was time to go to Tokyo for the training camp.  It was about eight in the morning when my brother walked me to the train station.  It was is now around ten and I just arrived in Tokyo.  The bus ride from the train station to the training center was not very long.

When I arrived at the training center I saw Coach Hibarida waiting in the lobby.

"Ah you must be Oikawa Emiko," He said holding his hand out.

"Yes that is me," I said with a friendly smile while shaking his hand.

"So, you must be wondering why we would ask you to be a coach here when there are dozens of other adults qualified for the position, correct?" He asked me.

"Yeah, kind of," I said scratching the back of my head.

"Well it's not like your not a household name in women's volleyball, so when I heard you had gone down to managing I thought that this would be a good opportunity for you to learn a bit about coaching.  Plus it's not easy to look over the fact that you most likely had something to do with Shiratorizawa's defeat at the Spring Qualifier," He explained.

"I guess.  But I did always want to try out coaching, since the injury I can't play professionally, but I can still play a little on the side, so coaching wouldn't be too bad in the future," I told him as he walked me to the gym we would be holding practice at.

"If I recall your older brother got 'Best Setter Award' for your prefecture in is 3rd year of junior high, am I correct," He asked.

"Yeah he did,"

"He must be pretty talented then, I've also heard he's also gone against Ushijima a few times as well," he said.

"Yeah my brother plays pretty well, in fact he is going overseas to play once he graduates, he also taught Kageyama Tobio a lot as well," I told him, "And as for Ushijima," I started while nervously laughing, " They have been rivals for awhile now, they have been going against each other since junior high,"

"Talented must be an understatement for him then," He said as we arrived in the gym which was only a short walk from the lobby, "this is where daily practices will be held,"

The gym was huge.  There were three (A/N: idk was there four? It's to much work to back and find a scene with all the courts) courts lined up next to each other and enough room for another court if they wanted.

After we finished touring the gym he showed me to the third floor which has the cafeteria and the dorms the boys would be staying in.

"Your dorm is on the fourth floor," He said as we got in the elevator and pressed the button for the fourth floor, "coaches get a little special treatment,"

"Huh?" I questioned.

"You'll see when you get there," He said.

"These papers are all of the attendees," He said handing me a manila folder, "This one will contain all of the training menus and schedule," he said while handing me another manila folder, this one thicker then the last, "and lastly, here is your keycard (for the dorm, I'm assuming that these dorms have locks) ,coaches shirt, and most importantly your whistle,"

"Arigatōgozaimashita," I said before he walked away.

When I opened the door I realized what Coach Hibarida meant before when he said that coaches get special treatment.  The dorm was definitely bigger then your average dorm room.  It had one queen bed instead of twin bunk beds, and a descent sized desk, and a closet.  It looked more like a western hotel room rather then a dorm.

After I had finished putting my stuff away I went through the files of all the players.   The players where from all over Japan (A/N: No duh it's called All-Japan for a reason) and they all seemed above average.  They all had vertical jumps in the 330s or higher with the exception of only a few liberos.  Although it did seem like some were only chosen for their left handiness, they did have certain strengths about them that made them strong players.

I even saw one of the first years from Shinzen High that we went to training camp with, along with some other familiar faces. (A/N: In reality only one, but you'll find out soon) I also saw a kid that was only 169 centimeters and had a vertical jump of 342 centimeters which was impressive due to his height because not even Hinata could jump that high.

After I finished going through all of the files I heard my stomach growl.

My phone said.

I didn't realize that this much time had passed by since I arrived in Tokyo.

Uwu!! I'ma have so much fun writing this training camp.  Like I have a really cute idea where she knows one of the attendees like I mentioned before and I'll do a lil flashblack and maybe include a lil pouty jealous Tobio and maybe a small date in Tokyo idk but like I just came up with an amazing ending to this story but don't worry because I think I'm going end this story once all of the information comes out for the final arc in the manga, so this story will basically just be about the entire Haikyuu story but then again the manga seems like it's gonna end soon since they are already like half way through the 3rd set of black jackles v adlers.
