Chapter 13

Emiko's POV

It has been a week since I first found out that I had sprained my ankle. We were currently helping Tanaka, Nishinoya, Hinata, and Tobio study so that they wouldn't fail their exams and could go to Tokyo with us. We were in the club room after practice and I was helping Tobio on his Modern Japanese.

He was having some trouble so I gave him my notes to use because they were neater than his.

"Thanks," he mumbled.

"Wow, King actually said thank you," Tsukkishima teasing him.

"S-shut up," We both said blushing causing the third years to laugh.

When me and Tobio were walking home I decided to strick up a conversion with him.

"So do you think that you are going to pass the test?"

"I hope so because if I do that means I can get some good training in,"

"Yeah you could, it's a 2 day training camp in Tokyo after all," I said before going separate ways.

~Time Skip~

To day was exam day, which meant that tomorrow we would know who was going to Tokyo.

The exam was pretty easy.  Maybe because I was supposed to be in a honors class but turned it down, but I was the first one done with the modern Japanese as far as I could see.  I could also see Tobio struggling a little with the test.  I sighed to myself hoping he would still pass.

Today we would see our test results.  I could see that Tobio was sredded out wondering what he would get.

"Kageyama," the teacher called for him to get his test.

When he saw his modern Japanese it looked like he had seen a ghost.  His face said it, he wasn't going to Tokyo.  Its was upsetting because I had new that he had tried so hard to do good on the exam.  Then I heard the teacher say,

"Oikawa,"

Well that was my call to go get my test. 

I looked down at it and I was happy with the results.  My average was a 93 on the tests which made me happy.

Before practice started we were in the club room discussing test scores.  This my a surprise both Tanaka and Nishinoya had just scraped by with a 42, while Hinata had a 28 and Tobio had a 38.  We were all surprised that they didn't pass because they worked pretty hard on studying to make sure they knew it. 

Then I started hearing that they were going to run or bike to Tokyo?  Were they crazy?

After practice me and Tobio were walking home again.

"Are you really going to go to Tokyo still?" I asked him knowing that he most likely would any ways. 

"Yeah, Tanaka-san said that his sister would give us a ride there after the exam was done."

"Oh that's good.  I thought you were really going to run to Tokyo." I said with a giggle.

With that I kissed him on the cheek and went the other way back home to go get ready for the two day camp.

When I got home I saw that Tooru was already home and so was my mom.

"Hi Nii-san, Oka-san,"

"Hello Emiko,so your going to be leaving tomorrow for the training camp in Tokyo if I am right?" Asked my mother.

"Yeah I am, I was just going to go pack for it right now,"

"Okay be safe in Tokyo," She said back.

I started packing all my stuff into a gym bag before pushing it to the side of my room.  That's when I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," I told the person on the other side of the door.

That's when I saw Tooru come in.

"So who are the other teams you are going to see at this training camp in Tokyo?" He asked curiously.

"Well I know that we are going to stay at Shinzen High, so we are going to be playing Neko, Shinzen, Fukurodani, and Ubugawa," I said counting on my fingers as I saw his jaw drop, he looked speechless which made me laugh.

"A-a-all those schools have been to Nationals over 3 times!"

"Well your the one who gets to play against collages every other week,"
