Chapter 3

A/N sorry but I'm going to be skipping the actual match because that for me personally would be hard to write so I'm going to skip to end of it.

Emiko's POV

Even though we had won the match I knew that they let us off easy because Tooru-nii wasn't playing. But something I had noticed was how well Kageyama played and how amazing he looked when playing, wait why am I thinking this?

Normal POV

After the team saw how good Oikawa was at volleyball they started questioning Emiko's skill.

"Hey Emiko-san are coming on the bus with us?" Asked Sugawara.

"Oh I'm not, I'm going to be going home from here with my brother," Emiko replied.

"Okay, well we will see you tomorrow for practice," Daichi said.

"Okay, see you guys tomorrow!" She said while waving.

Emiko's POV

I was walking home with Tooru-nii and Iwa-chan when I realised something,

"Hey,I just realized that this is out first time walking home together since junior high," I said.

"Yeah it is," Iwaizumi said with a faint smile.

Emiko's POV

After Hajime went his separate way I started taking to Tooru-nii.

"So I saw you did your grand entrance like I knew you would, coming in late and everything,"

"Well I can't let your team know all of my secrets Emi-chan"

"Even though I could easily rat you out and tell them all of your secrets myself," I said smuggly.

*Gasp*"You wouldn't. Emi-chan,"

"Try me,"

"Hmh,"

Tooru-nii started to speed up so I had to run but I felt a pain in my ankle that I sprained causing to stop and clutch my ankle.

"Ow!"

"Are you okay Emi-chan!" Tooru asked worried.

"Yeah I just over used it that's all," I reassured him.

"I don't believe you," He pouted.

I was suddenly I was on Tooru's back and no matter what he was going to carry me the rest of the 15 minutes home. I knew I shouldn't bother fighting with him so I fell asleep. (A/N I said that she fell asleep because I would expect it to be late and the sun was down by now even though they probably don't live far from the school.)

Tooru's POV

When I felt her breathing become steady I knew that she fell asleep. I just hoped that none of her past injuries will decide to pop up like it did today because I know that won't be good sign.

~Time Skip~

Emiko's POV

I decided to wake up early today head out to practice early (since it was a Sunday). I had this weird itch to be out on the court again and play ever since I became manager. So today I was going to come out early before anyone else was there and do a few serves to get rid of this itch. Tooru-nii had known that I was going to end up doing this and begged me not to because he was worried that something would happen because of what happened last night,so I had to promise him that I would be okay and wouldn't do anything wreakless.

So I was setting up the net in the gym loving the calmness of the gym but the adrenaline running through my veins. I couldn't wait to feel the ball in my hands as I served the ball.

Once I was set up I took a ball, took a few steps back, bounced the ball a few times, spun it in my hand (A/N: Like Tooru does), then tossed it into the air, jumped, then hit it with all my power. The feeling of hitting the ball was addicting. I knew that I shouldn't over work myself but I couldn't help myself from doing it over and over again. Only a few serves later and as I was in the middle of one I herd someone say,

"So this is 'The Great Empress',"
