Chapter 14

Emiko's POV

Today we were going to go to Tokyo for the short training camp.  The sun had just risen when we were getting on the bus.  Some of them were still sleepy, some were super excited.

When we got to Tokyo we were greeted by the Nekoma team.  I went up to go talk to Kenma since we struck up a friendship from Golden Week. 

"Hi Kenma," I said walking up to him.

"Hi Emiko," He said not looking up from his game.  

"What happened to your foot?" He asked when he noticed my foot.

"I sprained it a little more than a week ago," 

"How'd ya sprain it," Asked a certain bedhead while slinging an arm around me.

"I'd rather not talk about it," I said with a small frown on my face.

"Kay," He said nodding before going back to talk with Daichi.

"Where's Shoyo?"  Kenma asked starting to talk to me again.

"Oh him and Tobio have supplementary exams right now because they failed the regular exams,"

"Oh,"

We had a rocky start to the practice matches.  We were losing all of our matches and everyone looked beat from all of the matches along with the drills. 

'where are the power duo when we needed them?' I thought with a sigh.

That's when we all hear the gym door slam open and saw Tobio and Hinata being lead in with a girl who looked like she was in collage who I assumed to be Tanaka's older sister.

"Look you made it in time, they are still practicing," Said his older sister.

That's when most of the heads in the gym turned to see who had decided to come late.

"I guess the power duo decided to make a late entrance today huh?" Said Kuroo.

Once the two flunkers started to play everyone on Karasuno had become more on there a game. 

Fweeeeet (a/n aka my imitation of the whistle sound in text)

The sound of the whistle concluded the end of the match, which to our relief we had finally won.  I could tell how happy they were that they finally won a match and could actually take a break.

"Good job you guys!" I shouted from the bench I was sitting on with my crutches propped up on the side of it.

This caught there attention and Tanaka and Nishinoya started looking at me with stars in their eyes.

"Did you see how amazing we were Oikawa-chan?!" They both asked.

"I told you guys to drop the formalities and just call me Emiko, and if you guys really want to know, yes, me and Shizumi-senpai were indeed watching you guys playing 'amazingly'," I said knowing there reaction.

Even though they just heard the slightest mention of Kiyoko paying attention to them they looked like they were about to feint. 

"S-Shizumi-senpai!" They both stutter out causing me to giggle and causing Kiyoko to pinch the bridge of her nose.

After one more set the first day of the Tokyo away games were finished.  Me, Kiyoko, and the other managers started to go back to the classroom were we would crash for the night.

"So what do you guys think about the camp so far?" One of Fukurodani's managers asked me and Kiyoko.

"They are all very skilled-" Kiyoko started.

"-but some of the captains can be a hand full," I finished.

"You mean Bokuto and Kuroo?" The other manager asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"That's why they need Kenma and Akaashi to be their vice captains,"

After waiting for all the boys to finish in the onsen (so they wouldn't peek on the girls in there because there was only one onsen) Yaku and Suga knocked on their door and told them that everyone was out and they were fine to in.  Of course we trusted them because they were basically the moms that everyone could trust.

We all gathered out things walked down the hall to the onsen.  Before we got in I took off my boot and put my crutches against the wall then somehow made my way to the water.

Normal POV

 

Once they were all comfortable that's when the gossip started.

"So Kiyoko-senpai, how has it been going with you and Suga-senpai?" Emiko asked wanting to break the silence.

"You are going out with your setter?!" Shirofuku said in shock.

"Y-yeah," Kiyoko said blushing.

"I'm not the only one dating a setter tho," Kiyoko said smirking at Emiko.

"S-shut up!" She said now the one that  was blushing.

"Oh so both of Karasuno's managers are dating their setters huh?" Asked Suzumeda raising an eyebrow. 

Causing both of them to blush a deep red and not making eye contact with anyone. 

"Oh look at the time!  It's 10:45, we should start heading back, we need to wake up early so we can make breakfast for the boys!" Emiko said trying to change the subject and get out of this awkward situation.

When she got her clothes on she went to put on her boot and get her crutches so she could hurry out of the room before she died of embarrassment. 

She was rushing back to the room when she bumped into someone. 

"Sorry," she mumbled not looking at who she bumped into.

"Oh, Emiko," said a gentle familiar voice.

She looked up to meet a pair of gentle black eyes.

"Oh hi Kageyama," she said with a smile,"why are still up?"

"I couldn't sleep so I was going to get some fresh air, how about you?"

"Me and the other managers are just getting out of the onsen,"

"Oh, do you want to come outside with me?"

"Sure," she said with a smile following him outside.

What they didn't know was that four managers were listening on there conversation. 

"Wow, she really is dating Kageyama," said Miyanoshita.

"Wait doesn't her other brother hate Kageyama?" Asked Shirofuku.

"Yeah but I don't even know if he knows that they are dating," Kiyoko said.

When they got outside they found a bench and sat down.  Slowly Emiko grabbed Kageyama's hand and rested her head against his shoulder and started to lose concessions.  This made Kageyama worry about what to do because he didn't want to be blamed for trying to sneak into the girls room.   So he put her on his back grabbed her crutches and brought her back to her room.  He knocked on the managers door hoping that Kiyoko would answer because she was the only one who knew that they were dating, even though they were fine with the others knowing that they were together they liked it better that only a few people knew. 

The door opened and to his luck it was Kiyoko-senpai at the door.  After tip-toeing her to her futon.  After silently thanking her he walked back to the Karasuno room.
