"Ooh! I got the perfect game in mind! Lemme get it out!" Steven shouted excitedly as he hurried over to the TV in his bedroom.

Ruby and Sapphire fallowed him, Lapis and Peridot among the crowd.

As Steven dug through his games, everyone sat down. Lapis sat on the ground at the foot of Steven's bed, Peridot sitting against her chest in front of her. Pearl sat down next to the TV as Amethyst ran to grab a blanket and some snacks. Ruby and Sapphire snuggled up together close to the bed. Sapphire kneeled behind Ruby, who was sitting down, Sapphire's head on Ruby's with her arms around her shoulders loosely. Connie sat close to the TV as well as Pearl, but closer to the window.

     "I GOT IT!" Steven shouted holding up a video game disc case in the air. He opened the case, took out the disc, and inserted it into the dvd slot under the TV. He then walked over next to Connie with a game controller and handed it to her as he sat down.

     "Thanks," Connie said adjusting it into her hands as the game started.

     Lapis took the controller beside her and handed it to Peridot. "I think you should go first," she said with a smile.

     "O-Oh, thanks Lapis," Peridot responded, flattered by the gesture, smiling as well.

    Amethyst returned with a fuzzy, warm blanket and some nachos, sitting next to Pearl, wrapping both of them in it as she sat down beside her. She grabbed the controller in front of her and selected her avatar wanting to impress Pearl.

      Pearl placed a hand on Amethyst's shoulder and smiled. "You got this! I believe in you, Amethyst."

     Amethyst smiled as she selected her avatar.

      Ruby placed her hands on Sapphire's, who had her hands on the controller. "We can do it together. We're always better like that!" Ruby said.

     Sapphire chuckled and then said "okay," both gems smiling brightly as the game began. "We got this."

     The four teams had played two rounds. The second round, the teams switched the players. Connie handed the controller to Steven, Peridot handed the controller to Lapis, Amethyst handed the controller to Pearl, and Ruby and Sapphire played the same as they always do, together. At round three, Lapis would never expect what was to come next.

     "Alright, for round three and four, it will be a fusion round," Ruby declared as she fused with Sapphire into Garnet.

     "Each teammate in each team must fuse together for the next two rounds," Garnet said.

    Steven and Connie fused into Stevonie as they grabbed the controller ready to play.

     Pearl and Amethyst fused into Opal as she held the controller, now too big to fit under the blanket Amethyst had grabbed earlier.

     Lapis, however, clenched her fists nervously, a sweat rolling down her forehead, her eyes widened with terror. "I-I, uh..." Lapis stammered flying off in a hurry.
