Shouta's POV
"SHOUTAAAAA!" Hizashi yells.
"I'm literally right here what the hell do you want, 'Zashi?" I look at my husband in annoyance.
"Cmon! There's ten minutes until 2020! Let's get the wine ready!"
I roll my eyes, smirk, and get off of the couch to the kitchen.
"Hey dad? Do we have any popcorn?" Hitoshi asks.
"In the cabinet. You can't put the whole cup of kernels into the machine, okay?" I inform.
He nods and goes to retrieve the container of kernels.
"The countdown is starting, you sleep deprived corn dogs!" Hizashi yells. I pour the wine and make it to the kitchen.
"Five... four... three... two... one!" we laugh.
"Happy New Year, Shouta Yamada," Hizashi says.
I smile and peck him on the lips.
"You two need to do that here?" Hitoshi asks.
"Yep!" Hizashi kisses my forehead as we get our board games to play as one small family.
ok this is so so bad but it's one in the morning and last night i stayed up till 4 crying bc It Chapter 2 happened
