Your POV
I've been friends with Ciel Phantomhive for God knows how long. We were similar, the only differences were that I was sort of a coward, and I didn't go on as many missions for Her Majesty.
Sometimes I'll come over and help the servants with some of their chores. I've especially taken a liking to Finny- the inhumanly strong gardener with a heart of pure gold.
"Lady (Y/N)! Lovely to see you again, it is!" Mey Rin smiles widely at me as I walk into the library where she happens to be dusting.
"Lovely to see you too, Mey Rin. Would you like any help with that dusting?" I smile back.
"No, no, I'm completely alright! Thank you, though!"
I nod and exit the library.
The spring equinox happened just recently, so the flowers are blooming, the grass is turning green, and the birds are all happily chirping in the trees. I decide to enjoy the warm weather and visit the garden.
"Finny! I knew you would be out here!" I call.
The blond looks up and waves at me. I jog over to where he is crouching, just in front of some orchid buds.
"Hello, Lady (Y/N)! What brings you here?" Finny stands up and smiles brightly at me.
If I'm being honest here, I've grown rather fond of Finnian. I mean, he protects the manor with his life, he's an excellent gardener, and not to mention he's adorable! I swear, Ciel has the best staff ever.
"Oh, just seeing if you need help is all. Are those orchids?" I point to the buds.
He smiles, "Indeed they are! They're my favourite, really. Their blossoms are beautiful!"
I nod and crouch down to see the different kinds that he planted. There are some yellows and purples, along with some blue and white.
"This is a beautiful garden, Finny," I say.
I hear him mutter something that I can't quite hear. I turn to him and raise an eyebrow at his blush. Or maybe it's the heat.
"Can you repeat that?"
"I- uhm... I said the garden isn't as beautiful as you, my Lady..." he mumbles, the blush darkening.
I stand up, "Awwh, Finny! You're so adorable!"
"I- what?"
"You heard me!"
I wrap him into a tight hug, catching him off-guard. He eventually wraps his arms around my waist and hugs back.
"Lady (Y/N), I really love you..." Finny mutters against my neck.
I smile, "I love you too, Finny. Now, let's clean up this garden before Sebastian sees we're not working!"
Finny nods and smiles. We continue planting and weeding until sunset, when he grabs my hand and pulls me into a soft kiss.
My eyes widen in shock before closing them and smiling.
"You ready to go inside, Flower?" Finny asks after pulling away.
I giggle, "Yes I am."
