Word Count: 1000+

Warning: some swearing (I mean, it's Richie...)

A/N: I kind of wrote this on a whim at 3 am so please excuse any mistakes. I hope you like it because I enjoyed writing it!

Hiding your relationship with Richie was actually easier than you thought. The Losers we're accustomed to his shameless flirting and never gave it a second thought, which made it a whole lot easier for Richie to tease you. He would constantly call you pet names, which would go over everyone's heads. Well, everyone's except for yours. You would glare at him in return as a warning.

One thing that the losers can't dismiss though, is physical contact between you two. When you and Richie weren't dating, you would always retaliate his physical touches with a hit to the back of the head or a pinch. But, now that you're finally dating, you're way more lenient. Between you two, you agreed that you guys would refrain from touching while hanging out with the other losers to lessen the suspicion.

You two weren't hiding your relationship because you were embarrassed, it was more like a safeguard. When you started dating, you didn't tell anyone in fear that if your relationship were to end, it would be weird within the group for everyone to know you split up. If it were silent, then you two would go on as you normally would. Now, however, you were four months into your relationship and had no reason to keep it secret, but in Richie's words: "It's just fun to tease you when they don't know, princess."

So, you're limited to only showing affection when you were alone. It's not that bad considering you've been doing it for four months but it gets hard when Richie involuntarily puts an arm around your shoulder or tries to hug you from behind. He was so used to doing it when you were alone that it started becoming almost a daily thing. And the losers began to notice.

The first few times he did it on accident, you acted like you normally did, pinching him and shoving him off of you. But, you started feeling bad about it when he would pout at you and rub his arm, dawning his big doe eyes. Damn, he was just so cute, you couldn't resist his hugs anymore.

Soon enough, the losers started catching on. Beverly was first, her eyes meeting yours while you all were walking to the swimming hole. You didn't think much of it until she quickly glanced at your shoulder and back to your eyes, tilting her head. Your face instantly heated up and you avoided eye contact, realizing that you failed to notice earlier that Richie was walking with his arm around your shoulder.

Stan was getting annoyed from always seeing Richie looking at you and only you. He was the perceptive one of the group, so when he had to nonstop see Richie looking at you, it got old quick. Having enough of it, Stan glared at Richie and blurted out, "If you keep staring at (Y/N) like that, they'll think you're a creep."

It was a normal day in the clubhouse, Richie was hogging the hammock, Stanley was looking up every once and a while to check for spiders, Eddie was checking his watch waiting for Richie's ten minutes to end, Beverly was smoking and talking to Ben at the other side of the clubhouse, and Bill was trying to have a casual conversation with Richie and you. That was until Richie laughed at him, saying, "I would hate to be as single as you,"

Bill furrows his eyebrows at his words, giving Richie a questionable look. Realizing his mistake, Richie tried to save the situation by continuing with, "Girls practically swarm me, it's in the charm." This earns Richie a good slap to the back of the head from you.

Mike was doing his normal meat delivery run but catches himself stopping at the sight of you and Richie on your doorstep. He rubs his eyes, believing he's seeing things at first. But even after that, you both are still there, arms enveloped around each other until you pulled away from Richie. Mike's mind started to really turn when Richie gave you a forehead kiss before walking off.

Ben happened to stumble upon you two at the Derry library. When he saw you, he wasn't that surprised, it was when he saw Richie with you. For one, Richie despised going to the library so seeing him there was a shock in itself. But what shocked him more was when you didn't push him away when he hugged you from behind, complaining about how your attention wasn't on him.

Poor Eddie was the last one to realize anything. He was planning on going to the clubhouse with Richie, that is until he saw you two together. Richie's door was left wide open, and you and Richie were too caught up in kissing to notice him outside the door. In a state of shock, Eddie turned around stiffly and decided to walk to the clubhouse by himself.

Eddie was still a bit stunned when he climbed down the ladder into the secret clubhouse. His cheeks were red hot, and Stan didn't fail to comment on it. "It's not that hot outside, Eddie."

Eddie didn't spare any time, the words falling from his mouth before he could think. "I just saw (Y/N) and Richie kissing."

"Shit! What?" Beverly popped up, eyes wide. "Are you serious?"

Stanley scrunched up his face distastefully, "Honestly, I'm not that surprised. Richie can't take his eyes off of (Y/N). His eyes are practically glued to them."

"I saw them hugging when I was doing meat delivery a few days ago," Mike spoke up, "When they pulled away, Richie kissed (Y/N) on the forehead."

"Richie was also hugging (Y/N) in the library," Ben added in.

"(Y/N) didn't make a move to push Richie off when his arm was draped around her, even when I motioned to it," Beverly commented.

"Richie made a comment about girls being attracted to him because of his charm and (Y/N) hit him pretty hard and ignored him for the rest of the day," Bill even added, leaving the losers in a moment of silence.

When they heard creaking coming from the entrance of the clubhouse, their heads all turned, watching you two as you came in.

"Hey losers," Richie called out before turning around. He turned after he was greeted with silence and stilled from the stares his friends were giving him. Then, it finally clicked in his head.

"Oh shit."
