Richie Blurb: Cuddle Bug

Prompt: "I have to go to work." "No, you have to stay in bed with me."

Pairing: Richie Tozier x Reader

"Richie, I really have to go now or I'll be late," You complained, trying to pry his arms away from your stomach. For being so scrawny, he really had a tight hold. "I have to go to work, Rich."

Richie scoffed, latching back onto you once you finally pried his hands away. "No, you have to stay in bed with me."

You sighed, falling back onto the pillow behind you while Richie nuzzled his head into your shoulder. "How about this: when my shift is over and I'm done eating with my parents, I'll come back over and we can cuddle all we want."

Richie pouted at you, whining at the thought oF letting you go. "But I want to cuddle right now, babe."

"Well, babe, I have to go to work." You kissed the top of his head and ran your fingers through his curls before forcefully pulling yourself out of his grip. Richie let out another whine before glaring at you from the soft confines of the bed.

"I'm sorry Rich, I'll be back, you know that."

After gathering all of your belongings, you walked over to the side of the bed he was laying on and leaned over, giving a kiss on his head.

"I know you're ignoring me because you're upset, but I'll see you later. I love you, Rich."

Right before you left his room, you heard him softly grumble, "Love you too, babe."
