Y/N POV

I was walking around this city while Yang and Weiss rested until tomorrow. I asked around for any suspicious people around which all came up negative.

Y/N: I guess there really is nothing to worry about in this town.

I went to an empty park and sat on a bench as I looked up to the night sky. I clenched the necklace again.

Y/N: Only 10 left including Winter.

???: Hey, Y/N?

I looked up to see Mom and Okami in front of me.

Y/N: Mom! Okami! What're you doing here?

Mom: I was about to ask you the same question. Why aren't you at Beacon?

Y/N:...I'm going after the people that killed father.

Mom: WHAT?! Y/N, THAT'S ABSOLUTELY INSANE!

Y/N: I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE!

Mom:...You can't win. You know that.

Y/N: I know. But I'm not by myself. Yang and Weiss are with me.

Mom: Um...Where?

Y/N: Hotel a couple blocks that way. I walked around this city to make sure there is no trouble in this city.

I looked towards Okami and kneeled down in front of her and extended my arms signaling for a hug. She wasted no time running up to me and gave me a hug. She buried her head in my jacket.

Y/N: You're gonna be okay. Nothing is gonna happen to you.

She slowly nods her head with it still buried in my jacket.

Mom: Where's Emily?

Y/N: I don't know. My guess is looking for me.

Mom:...I'm going with you.

Y/N: Huh? Mom--

Mom: This isn't up for debate, Y/N. I'm going with you and that's final.

Y/N: I--

I sighed in defeat and said nothing.

Mom: Good.

Weiss: There you are!

Y/N: Weiss! What are you doing here?

Weiss: Looking for you! Why else?

I stood back up as I picked up Okami.

Y/N: Mom, this is a friend of mine, Weiss.

Mom: So, this is Weiss, huh? Nice to meet you. *extends hand*

Weiss: Nice to meet you too. *shakes hand*

Y/N: And this is my little sister, Okami. *sets her down*

Weiss: *kneels down* Hi.

Okami: *hides behind my leg* H-hi.

Y/N: Yang is still asleep I assume?

Weiss: Yup. We should wake her up. The sun's coming out.

Y/N: Yeah.

We started to walk towards the hotel. Mom whispers something in my ear.

Mom: She's pretty don't you think?

Y/N: M-Mom!

Mom: Hehe. Calm down. I was kidding.

As soon as we waked Yang up, she got ready and we left. We kept walking until my Mom felt something. Thanks to her Semblance, she could sense any danger.
