Amber's revenge

Y/N POV

I woke up to see nothing but complete darkness. Last I remember was getting stabbed by Ana.

???: Hello.

Y/N: Who...are you?

???: Who I am is not important.

Y/N: Then where am I?

???: This is the bridge between Remnant and the afterlife.

Y/N: Huh?

???: When Ana stabbed you, you fell barely breathing. You're dying. That's why you're here.

Y/N: Dy...ing. No. I can't die yet.

???: Death comes for all eventually. And it came for you this time. When your heart stops, which is just a matter of time, you will proceed to the afterlife.

Y/N: I can't. Please send me back.

???: I don't control death. I'm just here to bring people to the afterlife after their passing.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared from behind me.

???: Well, it seems Fate has other plans for you.

Y/N: Huh?

I turned around and walked towards the light and when my hand touched the light, everything started to burn and my chest was hurting like hell.

Amber POV hours after the attack

We tried to get to Haven and save Y/N. We arrived at a abandoned town.

Emily: Damnit. Haven is still quite a ways. Let's scavenge for supplies. We need to stop the bleeding.

Weiss: Y/N...Why did this have to happen to you?

Emily: Amber. Stay here with Y/N and Weiss. With Weiss in the state she's in, she's not in any position to be alone.

Amber: Right.

Emily: Everyone else, spread out and look for anything that could be useful.

Everyone: Right.

As everyone went to scavenge the town, I kneeled down next to Weiss.

Amber: Weiss...

Weiss: Amber? Why did this have to happen?

Amber: Weiss. It's okay.

Weiss: Y/N is gonna die.

Amber: No, he won't. We're going to save him. Liste––

I heard something approaching. Something big and dangerous.

Amber: Take Y/N somewhere safe and hide.

Weiss: Huh?

Amber: Just do it!

Weiss:...Right!

Weiss took Y/ N and went to hide somewhere. Soon after, a giant Grimm appeared. It looked like the upper half of a man attached to a horse with arrows stuck on its back.

Amber: Well...this sure is...different from what I've faced.

I took out my gold katanas ready to attack it. The Grimm let out an ear piercing scream. It ran at me, but I ran to the side and covered my katanas in fire and stabbed it in its leg. It screamed and kicked me back and I crashed into a building behind me. I slowly stood up and used the building to support me.

Amber: I've...seen this somewhere before. But where? Wait...Huh? Now I remember.
