Artoria vs Ana

Yang POV

I ran at Ana ready to attack her. My robotic hand and her swords clashed as we struggled for power.

Ana: I heard Emily beat you in the first semester. If that's the truth and you can't be Emily, then you for sure can't beat me.

Yang: Shut up!

Ana: Where did all that confidence go? Was it Adam?

Yang: Huh?

She pushed me back and I flew hitting a tree.

Ana: Figures. You're scared. You don't have what it takes to beat me. Bye.

Yang: Where are you going?! This fights not over!

Ana: Yes...it is. I have more importance I need to attend to. Killing of my Niece before she gets in the wrong hands.

She created a portal and walked towards it. I charged at her and tried to punch her, but the portal disappears right before I got to it.

Yang: NO!

I stood there with my head down.

Yang: I tried...

I fell to my knees.

Artoria POV

I kept running not looking back.

Artoria: If Ana catches up, I won't be able to beat her. Not on my own. The power of the Maidens is a force to be reckoned with. No matter what, I will protect Yuki.

I kept running as I made it to a town. I stopped to ask for directions.

Artoria: Excuse me, sir?

Man: How May I help you?

Artoria: I want to know if you seen anyone H/C, E/C and a age about 18 or 19?

Man: Yeah. They went over that way a couple weeks ago. I think they were heading to Haven.

Artoria: Thanks for the help.

Man: No problem.

Artoria: Huh?

I sensed Ana approaching quickly and my eyes widen.

Artoria: Yang...? Yang lost?

Artoria: Hey? Could I ask you something?

Man: Sure.

Artoria: Hide this child. She must be protected at all cost.

Man: Huh––

Artoria: Just do it!

Man: R-Right!

He took Yuki and his her somewhere safe as I waited for Ana to appear.

Ana: Found you.

Artoria: You just won't quit.

Ana: Quit? The word "quit" isn't in my dictionary. Now hand over the child.

Artoria: Sorry. But she's safe from you. And to get her, you have to get through me. I'm the last one standing between her and you.

Ana: That's right.

She pulled out her katanas as I pulled my swords out. We ran at each other and we clashed. She quickly over powered me and smacked me back with the butt of her katana. I slashed at her, but she blocked it and wrapped the chain around my waist and threw me back. I landed on my feet, but she was already next to me and I was hit on the cheek by her sword again.

Ana: You just can't win.

Artoria: If Yuki is safe, then I don't care if I die.

Ana: Persistence will get you killed.

She ran at me and elbowed me, then kicked me in the gut as I stepped back.

Artoria: You're h-holding back. You...don't wanna k-kill me. D-do you?

Ana: Shut up.

Artoria: You h-haven't killed Y-Yang. You h-haven't killed Mina.

Ana eyes widened after I said that.

Ana: Y-you...

Artoria: I-I was right.

She clenched her katanas looking very angry at me.

Ana: I...how...you...

Artoria: Which means, you won't be able to kill Yuki either.

Ana:...Heheheh. If I didn't kill Mother, where is she?

Artoria: That's the thing. Not event you know.

Ana:...

Artoria: And I also know that Y/N is breathing. You failed to kill him as well.

Ana: What?!

She made a fire portal and disappeared. I sighed in relief and put my sword away. The man approached me to see what happened.

Man: Who was that and why is she trying to kill this kid.

Artoria: Long story. Let's just say this kid poses a threat to her and she wants to get rid of her before she grows up. Well, thanks for the help. I'll be going now. *picks up Yuki*

I turned around and headed to Haven.

Ana POV

Ana: I can't believe this. Y/N is alive? There was no way they could've gotten help that quickly.

Cinder: We could help with that.

My eyes widen hearing that voice.

Ana: C-Cinder?

Cinder: We could help you kill your brother if you help us get the Relics.

She starts to walk circling me.

Ana: arhat goes against what I believe in. Sure I want my brother dead, but I also want to keep you and Salem getting what they want. And even if I accept, I'm the Summer Maiden. I won't be able to open Haven's vault.

Cinder: That's why we got the Spring Maiden on our side too.

Ana: Interesting.

Cinder: So...what will it be?

Ana:...Hmm...I suppose we could form a temporary alliance.

Cinder: Good. You won't regret it. Our results will be to your liking.

Ana: Let's make this clear. If you double cross me, I won't have mercy.
