The Truth

Ana POV

I was in the middle of the emerald forest minutes after my brother tried to blow us up. I leaned against a tree and fell down against it holding the burned mark on my stomach.

Ana: Damnit. What was he thinking? Such a damn fool.

I coughed up blood and slowly stood up leaning against a tree.

Ana: If only you knew what my intention was.

???: Talking to yourself?

I looked over to see a girl with black hair, a red bow, and black and red clothing.

Ana: Do I look like I'm hoping for a fight?

???: You look like you were out through quite the battle. What happened?

Ana: My brother almost blew the both of us up.

???: Are you...with her?

Ana: Huh?

???: Salem?

Ana: No. I'm in this for myself. Survive. I've been on the run for a while now. Avoiding Salem. I tried to kill my brother because Salem wants him. And death is better than being caught by her. But now he hates me, all because I couldn't kill him in time. If only I went all out at the beginning.

???: She's also after you, right?

Ana: You caught me. I'm...the Summer Maiden.

???: I though so. What's your name?

Ana: Ana. Ana L/N. Yours.

???: Raven Branwen. And I'm the Spring Maiden

Y/N POV

It's been a couple weeks and I started training after my wounds healed. Waiting for Ana's next encounter. I was sparring with Taiyang, Ruby and Yang's father.

Tai: You're stronger than you look.

Y/N: I was one of the top students in the academy.

I threw a punch, but he blocked it and tried to kick me. I dodged to the left and elbowed his cheek making him stumble back.

Tai: That should do it. Nice job.

Y/N: It's not enough. If I fought Ana now, I wouldn't last 10 seconds. When I fought Ana, she was just toying with me.

Mina POV

I was sitting in a room with Artoria, Amber, Emily, and Weiss while Y/N is taking care of Yuki and Okami.

Mina: I still don't know why your own sister attacked you out of the blue like that.

Artoria: It could just be that she's insane.

Mina: No. It's not that. She has a reason to do what she does. I just can't find out what that reason is. Ana has always been very secretive, but this is absolutely not ok.

Weiss: I don't know how I could help. Y/N is on a different level than I'm at. And if Ana is even stronger, there's no way I could help.

Amber: What is it with Ana anyways? It will be real helpful to fill us in.

Mina: Y/N always looked up to Ana. Y/N admired her. His hero, you could say. Y/N was inspired to become a Huntsman because that's the path Ana chose. She means a lot to him. It hurts him just to see Ana trying to attack him. When Ana was at Beacon, she learned the horrible truth about the world.
