Testing The 1st Years

Y/N POV

I got up early and got ready for Glynda's class. I let Emily sleep in as I went to train for the half hour I had. After the half hour Emily woke up as usual and met me in the training room.

Emily: You're up early.

Y/N: I had to get ready. We do have to test the 1st years today.

Emily: Well, class does start in a few. we should go.

Y/N: Yeah.

We ran out of the training room and ran to class.

Emily: Good morning, Professor.

Glynda: Hello. You two are early today. Class will start in a few minutes. Y/N. How would you feel about testing the first student.

Y/N: I'll accept.

Glynda: Great.

In a few minutes, class has started. I looked around and saw Weiss with her team enter.

Weiss: Y/N! *runs up to me*

Y/N: Hey, Weiss.

Yang: Who's your friend, Weiss?

Weiss: This is Y/N. A second year.

Yang: So, he's older.

Weiss: Shut up!

Y/N: Y/N L/N. A pleasure to meet you all.

Red: I'm Ruby Rose.

Black: Blake.

Yellow: I'm Yang.

Emily: *grabs my arm* Lets go sit down.

Y/N: Class doesn't start for another minute. Lets talk a little longer.

Emily: Ugh!

Y/N: *whispers to Emily* You said you'll give Weiss a chance.

Emily: *whispers back* That doesn't mean I need to talk to her.

Y/N: Sorry, this is my twin sister, Emily.

Weiss: *pulls me away from everyone* Did I do something wrong? Why does Emily hate me so much?

Y/N: No, nothing like that. Its just...what your family did in the past. Emily doesn't want anything to do with Schnee family.

Weiss: So that's it, huh?

The bell rang signaling the students to sit down. So we did just that.

Glynda: So, Y/N L/N will be testing the first battle. Are there any volunteers.

No one stepped up.

Glynda: No? Ok, then. How bout...Weiss?

Weiss: Huh? M-me? uh...a-alright.

Weiss slowly got in front of me and got her weapon out as I did the same. It looked like she didn't want to fight.

Glynda: Begin!

Weiss ran towards me, but I moved to the side and avoided the attack. I swung my sword at her, but she blocked it with her sword. Weiss was getting pushed back as she was weaker than me. I let up and kicked here in the gut making her stumble backwards.

Yang: What's with Weiss?

Ruby: She's not fighting like herself.

Blake: She's getting sloppy. If this keeps up, this battle will be one-sided.

Weiss made a couple glyphs and shot ice shards at me. I destroyed the all the shards and transformed my sword to the guns and put fire dust bullets in them I shot a clip at her, but she made a ice barrier blocking all of them.
