A New Team

Y/N POV

I was sitting down against a tree not far from Beacon with Weiss' head on my shoulder.

Weiss: Don't ever scare me like that again, Y/N. I thought you were gone when Winter stabbed you.

Y/N: It's fine. I'm still here. I won't ever leave you alone.

Weiss: Good. *lifts her head* You better keep your word.

Y/N: Don't worry. I'm staying.

Weiss: *lays her head back down* You're the best.

Y/N: No, you're the best.

Emily: Well, you two are all lovey dovey.

Y/N: Oh, Emily. What are you doing here?

Emily: Mom wants to speak with you. Very sorry for interrupting...this.

Y/N: No you aren't. * gets up*

Emily: Hmph.

Y/N & Emily: Ahahaha.

We all walk back to Beacon.

Y/N: Hey, Mom. What do you need?

Mina: Hey, Y/N. I'm sure you're aware of the Vytal festival coming up in a few months, right?

Y/N: Of course. Although participating is impossible with only a two person team.

Mina: Well, Emily and I had a little talk and we decided that Amber could join your team.

Y/N: Amber, huh? Even so, that makes us only a three person team.

Mina: I've talked to Ozpin about that. He said you guys could participate with one less teammate.

Y/N: We'll be at a disadvantage.

Emily: Not a problem. We won't lose anyways.

Y/N: Well, if Emily's ok with it, then I guess I am too.

Amber: Thank you, Y/N.

Y/N: No one deserves what happened to you, Amber. I know you were only doing this to find your sister's killer.

Amber: He was right under my nose the entire time. But...he's gone now. But I feel as though something's missing.

Y/N: I think I know. I thought I would feel better after defeating them for my father's death. But I don't. No matter what you do, you will always miss your sister, Amber.

Amber: You're probably right about that.

Weiss looked uneasy and she was holding her stomach.

Y/N: Weiss? Are you...feeling okay?

Weiss: I'm--

She covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom.

Mina: Must be morning sickness. She IS pregnant after all.

Artoria: Will she be able to participate in the festival if she's pregnant?

Y/N: Weiss has been looking forward to this for a while. But if she's pregnant--

Emily: She can't participate.

Ruby: Hey, Y/N! Emily!

I turned around to see Team RBY.

Y/N: Hey, Ruby, Blake, Yang.

Blake: Where's Weiss?

Y/N: She is throwing up in the bathroom.

Ruby: Is she sick.

Artoria: In a way.

Emily: Morning sickness. I hate to break it to you, but we don't think she can participate in the Vytal festival tournament.
