A Step in the Wrong Direction

Y/N POV

I was sitting on a seat in the bullhead thinking to myself until Emily walked to me and sat beside me.

Emily: Is  something wrong, Y/N?

Y/N: No. Just thinking.

Emily: About?

Y/N: Well...When I fought Arthuria, that was my first lost out of all the time I had went to Beacon for.

Emily: Don't let that get you down. Everyone loses sometimes.

Y/N: Not Mom. She's never lost a battle.

Emily:...She's a legend. She wanted people to think she died as a legend.

Y/N: *sighs* You're right.

Pilot: We're arriving at Beacon. We'll be landing shortly.

Y/N: Right. Thanks for the ride.

Pilot: Anytime, Y/N.

Arthuria: Whew. It's been a while since I've seen your mother.

After we've landed, we went to Ozpin's office.

Y/N: Hello, Professor. Hello Mom.

Mina: So, have you completed the mission I assigned you?

Emily: Yes, right here.

Arthuria walked forward.

Mina: Arthuria.

Arthuria: Hello...Mina.

Mina: *to Y/N* Why don't you visit Team RWBY. You did all you need to do for now.

Y/N: Thanks, Mom

Emily and I walked out of the office.

Y/N: You comin with?

Emily: Nah. I think I'll see Team CFVY.

Y/N: Oh, well, see you later.

Emily: Yeah, see you later.

After that, we parted ways. I walked to Team RWBY's dorm and knocked. Ruby opened the door.

Ruby: Oh, hey, Y/N. You're back.

Y/N: Yeah. I was seeing if Weiss is around.

Ruby: She went to the library.

Y/N: Okay. Thanks, Ruby. Oh yeah, where's Okami?

Ruby: Okami is resting. She had it rough.

Y/N: Okay, I'll be back to get her soon.

Ruby: Going already?

Y/N: Weiss is my girlfriend. I want to spend time with her.

Ruby: Well, bye then.

Y/N: Bye.

I left to the library and found Weiss studying for a test. I walked over to her and surprised her from behind.

Y/N: Hi!

Weiss: wah! Y/N?! Don't ever do that again! +punches my chest*

Y/N: Heheh. Couldn't resist.

Weiss: Ugh. Whatever. You completed your mission way earlier than I expected.

Y/N: Yeah. In a place of destroyed and abandoned buildings, people really stand out.

Weiss: Huh? You looked...kinda beat up.

Y/N: I did kinda...fight Arthuria...And lost really badly.
