My first instinct was to cover my head. My body hit each step as I silently prayed for that fall to be over soon. The pain of the glass dug deeper into my chest. The thought of dying not only scared me but my demon. My shoulder throbbed. I felt it would fly off any second. When my body managed to hit the bottom step, a loud and pain cracking noise was heard. A scream of pure pain left my lips not too long afterwards.
I gazed up at Greta. Her face paled. She was back to normal. No monster, no demon. Regular Greta. I tried pilling my arm down but a giant pain shout up my right arm, stopping directly at my shoulder joints. I tried to move it but it wouldn't work. The pain grew and spread throughout my arm. As I looked over at it, I saw blood. It was everywhere. My shoulder bone popped out. It broke threw my flesh and with the sight of it, the pain felt so much more real. I saw the white bloody bone. It pierced through my skin. My flesh was broken and damaged because of Greta.
Greta ran down the stairs in full shock. She wanted to help but my demon was still in control. My little monster was furious and wanted revenge. I agreed and let her take the wheel. I was in no mood to put up with her that time.
My demon quickly jumped up and ignored the shooting pain and the spilling blood. I sent a nasty look at Greta before a left hook collided with her face. Not being enough, she did the unthinkable. The demon pulled the glass out of our chest and slashed it into Greta's. The sound of Greta's screams were music to my ears as I watched the blood poor out of her. I dug the glass deeper into her chest as tears fell down her face. But it didn't stop there. My demon wanted her to feel what I was. What pain I was in. She grabbed Greta's right arm as a smirk played on my psychotic face. "Blood for blood! An arm for an arm!" I shouted in her face as I pulled her arm out of her shoulder and watched as it broke.
The cracking was heard throughout the house as everyone stood there watching. The sounds of Greta's screams made me chuckle in satisfaction. Blood poured out of her chest as I saw the little bone poking out of her shoulder. "Guess karma's a bitch! Who has the better split personality now, you bitch!" The demon shouted in Greta's face as our body was soon pulled off of her.
A pain of arms wrapped around our waist as we were picked up into the air. The familiar tattooed arms made me realized who it was. "No, Tyson! Let me go! Let me finish her!" My demon shouted in protest as she continued to pull against the man I love. 'Switch? Please?' I asked my demon kindly as Tyson tried to calm her down. 'Fine'. I took control of my body and relaxed into Tyson as a sigh left my lips. My head rested on his hard chest.
But, I soon hissed in pain at the weight of his heavy arms on my broken shoulder. "Tyson. My shoulder." I panted as I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Shit!" He cursed as he released me and looked at my damaged body. I looked around the room and saw everyone watching us. Willow stood at the top of the stairs with her eyes widened. She was speechless and couldn't believe what had happened. Matthew stood behind her with a shocked expression on his face. Neil beside him, on the phone probably calling the ambulance.
What surprised me the most was how mad Jackson was. He ran down the other staircase heading towards us and roared in anger. "What the fuck is wrong with you, Melody!" I knew he was furious that Greta hadn't completed his messed up task. I knew it. I had a gut feeling about it. "You could have killed her!" Jackson crouched down next to Greta to help her up.
"She pushed me down the stairs! How the fuck if that my fault?" I yelled as Tyson released my shoulder but placed his hands on my waist. Clearly trying to calm me down.
"Shut up, Melody." Jackson hissed as he helped Greta up.
"Get the hell off me!" Greta yelled at Jackson as he helped her up. Locking her gaze with me she smirked. "I'm not done with her!" Greta lunged at me but Jackson wrapped his arms around her waist. "Let me go Jackson! I need her blood!"
