Chaos

As we reached the school, I sighed. I went from one hell hole to another. After morning had started off rough and with the sky being a dark grey, I knew it would have gotten worse. It was the middle of September. School started a couple of weeks ago and so much had already happened. Considering school started in late August, I was surprised it wasn't Christmas yet. "What do you have first?" Tyson asked as he opened the school door for me.

"History." I stopped. My eyes widened at who would be in that class. "Can I skip it?" I pouted. Tyson handed me a sour look. "Can we skip it? We can go to the frozen yogurt shop down the street." I pointed towards the white, pink and blue building that recently opened. The flashing words shine at us, almost greeting us.

Tyson chuckled and redirected me inside the school. "We'll go at lunch."

I groaned and made my way to the locker area. "But that's after third period!" I tilted my head back. "Why do you hate me?"

"I don't hate you." My boyfriend smiled as he planted a sweet kiss on my lips. "But, if you behave in French and Math class, we'll go." He was treating me like a child.

"Fine." I grumbled and opened my locker. "See you in second." The warning bell rang as students scurried off to class. Tyson hummed in response as he tried to kiss me again but I dodged it.

     "Behave."

I sent him a sweet but fake smile, one he read right through. "You know it." Before I had time to turn, he planted a kiss on my lips before making his way to his locker area. My feet dragged me to History class. I entered the class with two minutes to spare.

My head slammed on the desk, as I waited for the teacher to speak. I was beyond annoyed and tired. That day was useless. I couldn't remember the last time I was in the class. Before my accident maybe? I wasn't sure. But that had been a week ago and already a month it, I had a broken arm and bruises all over my body. And a psychopath trying to kill me. How could we forget about that? I thought to myself.

    "Shit, you're alive."

My eyes rolled. "May the bothering begin." I mumbled to myself as I lifted my head. The four idiots greeted me with a cocky smile. "Hello to you too dumbasses." My face was blank as I wasn't in the mood for their bothering.

"What happened to your arm?" Hutson asked as his green eyes locked with my arm.

I shrugged. "Got into a fight with a girl. She broke my arm and I broke hers." My back rested against the terrible plastic seat.

Gunner sat in front of me. "When do you remove it?" His eyes were on the window, as he tried to fix his dirty blond hair."

"A day before Halloween." A smile made its way to my face as I thought about my favourite holiday. Halloween was one of those holidays where scaring people was a sport instead of a pass time. I used to always pull the biggest pranks on my brother and friends from school with Valentino's help. It was the best, if only I could go back to those days. Before Valentino turned me into a mass murderer.

"Hey, you okay?" Gunner waved his hand in front of my face. "You totally zoned out for a minute."

Faking a laugh, I scratched the back of my head. "Yeah, sorry. Just thinking about that test, we have. I didn't know we had one."

Alexander's dark laugh filled my ears as he plopped down beside me, on my left. I had made the horrible mistake of taking the middle desk. "Don't worry neither did we." He sent me a wink. His dark eyes sparkling in amusement.
