The lights reminded me of a club. Constantly changing. Colourful. It absorbed me the moment I stepped into the home. Music was blasting through the large speakers. The smell of alcohol and weed filled my nose. My cravings kicked in as I sighed in satisfaction. I truly had missed house parties. It was something natural. Non-original for a high school student to do on a Saturday night. The moment we arrived, Neil and Matthew directed themselves towards the drinks table. Tyson was standing beside it. Bottle of whiskey in his hand. Hard liquor. I hadn't known he had a tolerance for that. I was simple. Vodka. It was my poison.
Anything with Vodka had my name written on it and the second Rebecca came prancing over to me with four Vodka shots in hand, I was ecstatic. She was the fourth member of the Spice girls. Posh Spice. Black crop top, skirt that reached the middle of her thigh and black heels. Blonde hair was pulled into a high ponytail, as red lipstick bolded her lips. Eyeshadow held a hint of gold. "You look amazing!" Rebecca shouted as she pulled me into a tight hug.
"So do you!" I shouted in her ear as we pulled away. Handing me shot, I gladly take it and down it in less than five seconds. Rebecca smiled as they followed. "I needed that!"
"If you need me, I'll be in the living room."
I raised a brow. Rebecca was tipsy and it was only nine forty at night. "I swear if I see you sticking your tongue down some guys throat, I'll kill you!" She chuckled and kissed me on the cheek before hobbling towards the living room. Damiano was at my side with two large red cups in his hands. Thanking him, I brought the cup to my lips.
"I'll be right back." He said before walking away. Turning, Willow and Greta were both gone. Shrugging, I made my way in through the house. With my glass already gone, I made my way to the kitchen for another round. I wasn't sure what I had but it tasted like cranberry juice with a lot of Vodka.
Opening the fridge, I smiled at the few people in the kitchen. When I grabbed the cranberry juice, my hand closed the metallic fridge door. I jumped in shock at the dark brown eyed boy that was beside me. "What do you want Jack?" I barley paid attention to him as I poured the juice into my cup. His large hand gripped my wrist. Preventing me from continuing to pour the juice. My eyes narrowed into his. "Let go."
"Scary Spice?" He raised a dark brow. Then chuckled lightly. "I've got my eyes on you, Melly." Jackson growled in my ear. His grip loosening as he pulled away. Rolling my eyes, I turned to the fridge to place everything back in order. Finding the Vodka bottles, I pour it into my cup until the red liquid reached the rim. I was planning to waste my night. Drinking and getting high.
After finding my way to the dance floor, I wasn't sure how much time had past. The more I drank the slower everything became. My head was spinning, I felt nauseous but I knew it was because of the three weed joints I had smoked and the endless amount of alcohol I had consumed. Mixing those two were stupid and dumb. But I didn't care. It was the quickest way to ignore the pain growing in my chest. I always found myself stabling as the girls surrounded me on the dance floor. Damiano was nowhere to be seen.
I don't remember Rebecca leaving but I did remember her arms around Tyson's neck. Their bodies so close that it made me sick. I was speaking to Alexander, who had just handed me a new drink. Gunner held an arm around my waist. Said that Damiano was sitting in the living room with Huston. I wanted to go see him but the sight of my friend and my ex locking lips made me nauseous. Even more than before. Rebecca always told me that many girls had lined up to get with Tyson. Sexual needs mainly. It hadn't bothered me because I refused to believe it was true, but standing against the living wall and watching the seen unfold before me made everything so much more real.
