• Chapter 14 •

The silky material of the dress flowed over my skin in a gentle touch, hugging my every curve and leaving the back bare except for a thin strap that formed a halter. "Wow, you look breathtaking" I had just finished clipping on my earrings when Harry walked in, his voice was raspy and I blushed in response. I watched him through the mirror, taking in his appearance, a white dress shirt hugged his torso with the first few buttons left undone while a tie hung loosely around his neck. His signature black jeans adorned his legs ending off with Chelsea boots, the black coat hung over his arm as he made his way towards me. "You don't look too bad yourself" I smiled then bit my lip, my hormones raging and Harry smirked, his eyes followed my actions.

"I got you something" He stated "Something else? Babe, this trip is already enough" He placed a finger to my lips and I kept quiet "It's a small gift" He smiled and reached into his coat pocket, retrieving a purple velvet box. I watched in curiosity as he tipped the lid open and I let out a sharp gasp, "Harry, that's a Cartier bracelet" He hummed with a nod "I know and it's for you" I looked at him wide eyed "It's so expensive, you didn't have to waste so much money on me" He shook his head "I want to spoil you, I'm going to be your husband, so you better get used to this" He smirked and I couldn't help but smile "You're unbelievable" I went on my toes and kissed him, he took ahold of my wrist and slipped the bracelet on. The lighting bounced off of the silver plating and I frowned noticing a little inscription on the inside, "What's that?" I looked up at Harry and he passed me a smile

"Read it" I held the bracelet in between my fingers, brushing my thumb over the three initials engraved into it "Wait, did Noah write this?" I glanced at Harry, a look of awe covered my features "He did, he said he wanted to help get his Mumma the perfect gift but he didn't have any money so I asked him to write down our initials" I slipped the bracelet back onto my wrist, wiping the edges of my eyes as tears formed causing Harry to chuckle "Don't laugh when I cry" He rubbed my arms and pulled me to him "You're adorable when you cry" I shook my head "Thank you, for everything" I spoke in gratitude, repeating the same words for the umpteenth time "I love you, Anna and that's not something you should thank me for"

I retouched my makeup since my tears had smudged the eyeliner a bit before we left the hotel, getting into a limousine then driving off to the Eiffel Tower. "It's beautiful up here" I gasped as we reached the Eiffel Tower, going up to the level we'll be dining on. I leaned on the edge, looking at the view before me with pure disbelief, "I can't believe I'm standing on the Eiffel Tower" I felt Harry come up behind me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and I leaned into his touch, shivering a little from the slight breeze. "Did you not come here the last time you were in Monte Carlo?" If Harry asked me that question two years ago, my mind would have blanked and I would have felt nothing but shame and disgust in myself but now, it's not a triggering matter. I've learned to push it aside and focus on my future, my past will stay where it is, it's become something I can easily speak about.

"We didn't, as time goes by every memory that was once a blur for me now clears up. I spent most of my time in clubs when I ran away to Monte Carlo" I said sadly and Harry's hands rubbed my arms "When I couldn't remember anything from that trip, I remember locking myself in my room for a week, I lost weight and felt even more depressed. I was ashamed of my actions and then I finally packed my bags, told no one and left for London. My parents were upset with me but I didn't really care because they're the main reason behind my then actions." I let out a sigh, feeling Harry's cheek pressed against my head and I locked our fingers together, pulling his arms tighter around me. I leaned my head onto his shoulder, tilting a bit to look up at him "That's all over now, I've moved passed it and I'm a little glad I did that because if I didn't, I wouldn't be standing here with you right now" I smiled and Harry kissed my cheek

"I love you" He said, after keeping quiet all along, "I love you too" I beamed and we broke apart by the voice of a waiter, who came to inform us that dinner is served. "Shall we, Ms Montgomery?" Harry smiled, holding out his hand and I giggled, placing my hand in his "We shall" I blushed at the title, being reminded that in a few months, I'll be marrying Harry. He pulled out my chair and I took a seat, my cheeks hurt from the stupid grin on my face. I watched as Harry exchanged words with the waiter, my body tingled at the way I felt attracted to him speaking in French. "That's quite sexy" I commented and he smirked, now looking at me as the waiter walked away "What?" He raised a brow and I leaned back when another waiter placed a napkin on my lap "You speaking in French. It's a huge turn on" I winked and Harry's eyes lit up, I sipped the wine that was poured for us "You know saying that, doesn't help the fact that we haven't had sex in a year" I let out a laugh and Harry shook his head

"Maybe, we'll just have to change that tonight" I added in a low voice, watching as Harry's hand stopped in mid-air when he raised his glass to his mouth "Have mercy, Anna" He groaned and I giggled to myself, feeling proud at being able to render him helpless in such a situation. "I'm sorry, I can't help myself. You shouldn't have spoken in French" I took another sip of wine and Harry shook his head, his eyes narrowed at me "You, nymph" He accused and I giggled, delightfully "Let's focus on dinner for now, babe" I added as the waiter brought our meals, my stomach started to grumble and I flushed a scarlet hue, hoping no one heard
