All morning I've been in a daze that almost felt like a dream. The amount of happiness I felt was almost surreal. All my life I was use to having to be prepared for something bad to happen after a moment of bliss, but I knew my life with Austin wouldn't be anything like my past. My life was ready to begin.
"So everyone is here and accounted for!" Rachel entered the room looking as elegant as ever.

"Even Austin?" I asked her while looking in the reflection of the mirror, finishing my final touches before getting into my dress. "Especially Austin." She gestured to my dress which hung perfectly on me when I finally put it on. "Alright, everyone's ready?" Rachel shouted again. "Mommy you are so beautiful!!" Sophia wore a pale pink dress and had a basket of flowers, her ringlets down with a beautiful baby's breath head band on top of her head.
"And so do you! You're going to steal everyone's attention away from me," I told her as she jingled around her basket of flowers petals. "Is Austin my new daddy?" This is the question I've been waiting for, since our relationship began. Tears filled my eyes as I thought about what Austin would say if she had asked him. I squatted down to her level and took her hand.
"You can let him be whoever or whatever you want baby girl, but you will always have one true father." "He's my Austie." She gave me the cheesiest smile before Rachel nicely but harshly told us we were starting. My heart raced as I heard the music playing on the piano - Can't Help Falling in Love - a song we had chosen together.
I watched as my friends joined Austin's in leading my way down the aisle. My grandfather kissed my cheek and wiped both of our tears away as I took a shaky breath realizing there was only Sophia with her basket of roses and the rings in a box at the bottom. I waited until I saw from the crack in the door for Sophia to reach my mom after being distracted by giving Austin a hug. Once again taking a breath, my heart racing hard, I grabbed by grandfathers arm and stepped into view of everyone..but not able to take my eyes off Austin.
