It had been at least two months since we've gotten married and things are so amazing. I knew that being Austin's wife came with stipulations but I didn't mind any of them. It's helping my business increase product sales and service requests. I actually am contemplating putting another chair into the salon to multitask between clients or possibly hired someone close.

I knew Austin's first night home in a week would be today and I couldn't wait to see him. I was throwing a party for him because it was the day before his birthday; I was on my way to pick up drinks of all kinds and calling Myla's husband (who was catering) to make sure he'd be there in time to be set up before he got home.

Night time fell and I had been doing my best to keep track of Austin via text message.

I giggled and made sure everyone was in their place and already mingling. I had to stay sober to focus but right now was the time for a shot. Rachel and Ge really have been hitting it off so of course they were in the corner talking. I got a text from Austin saying he was at the gate down the hill. I yelled for everyone to quiet down as I dimmed the lights and ran to the door. I saw Austin flick out his cigarette into a flower pot and open the door. Just as he did so, someone turned on the lights and we yelled "surprise"!

His face was completely surprised but full of joy and everyone came up to give him hugs and hand shakes. He made his way through the crowd to me, the sweetest smile on his lips.
"Surprise, birthday boy," I told him as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Oh why thank you," he smirked back, planting a number of kisses on my lips.
"Tonight's the real surprise," I whispered into his ear, placing a soft kiss on his earlobe.
"Ouuu," he groaned, throwing his head back, then firmly he grabbed my ass. "I don't want to wait."
"Fine," I told him, handing him a solo cup. The music started just at that moment so I leaned in to whisper into his ear once more. "I'm pregnant."

He pulled away so quickly I was scared to see his facial expression. His jaw was dropped in disbelief, his lips
"No way? No. Way. No way!" I was nodding the whole time, laughing at the progression of excitement. "Baby I'm so excited!" My husband wrapped me tight in a hug and only let go of my waist to cup my face and kiss me deeply.
"A little posty," I smiled and kissed his nose as his thumbs wiped tears under my eyes.
"Hey!!" Austin yelled as loud as he could, shushing everyone as he stood up on his counter. "I'm gonna be a dad!!" Everyone cheered us on as he jumped back down and grabbed me, one hand in my stomach as he dipped me back and kissed me hard.
"I'm gonna be a dad," he whispered again, forehead pressed against mine.

The months flew by so quickly it made me sad in a way. My small frame carried a growing belly at 16 weeks approximately. Today's as our first ultrasound and we were keeping the sex a secret until Rachel came up with a surprising way to share it.
"I can't wait to see!"
"Well if you don't want to know the sex, I'll have to turn the screen away for most of it."

Austin sat on the chair next to the end I laid back on, holding the hand that wasn't about my head. My ankles were crossed and I couldn't help but stare at the screen.
"Look, this little one has their ankle crossed too!"
"Oh my god, I bet she's a sassy ass like Sophia," I told Austin who was in complete awe.
"Sophia is your daughter?" Before I could speak, Austin answers for us.
"Yeah, she just turned 5."
"Well here is baby B's spine in perfect shape-"
"I'm sorry, baby b?" I sat up slightly, looking at the nurses two heads.
"You didn't know there was two?" She asked, seeming a little nervous. I'd be nervous too if I had seen our faces.
"So you mean like, one two? Two babies?" Austin's smile is what broke my fear of having not one but two children growing inside of me. Two little Austin's and I could not be more excited.
"I have magical sperm!"
