John's POV
"Alright, what do you want?!" I ask, demanding to know. "You know what we demons want, Constantine. A chance back on earth." The demon says in a distorted voice. I'm in his realm now. "Then what do you bloody demons want with me or my daughter?!" I ask him back. "Your daughter is preventing higher demons from leaving hell, her powers are what is containing us. Even when she doesn't really use them." The demon continues.

"Then why not take her instead of me, eh?" I ask, looking up at the foggy sky. "She's a strong one, we can't take her over unless she goes willingly. That's what I need you for." It says, the demon sounds annoyed. "So I'm the bait?" I mutter. "I'm not stupid." He says. Guessing that's a no. "Who even are you?" I ask while trying to buy more time and think of a spell. "You don't recognize me?" The demon asks in a normal voice, standing behind me.

I quickly turn around to see Belial standing there. Next to him, I see Astra too. "Astra..." I say while giving her a death glare. "What happened to you?" I add. "Nothing, I just do what I have to. I'm going to do what Neron never succeeded in doing." She answers. "And did you really think I would do good with those tokens?" Astra continues.

Louisa's POV
"Have you got a location yet?" I ask shakily to Gideon. "No, miss Constantine. It seems like John Constantine's tracker is untraceable." Gideon answers me. That's weird. John will never take off his comms and tracker in a situation like this. He would either hide them or activate the emergency system.

"Find anything yet?" Sara asks me when the rest of the legends came back from searching the area. "No, John's tracker is off or unreachable for some reason," I say to her. "Weird..." She mumbles. "We're going to get him back, I promise," Sara says. "Wait..." I say slowly while pacing around the room. "I've read books about this kind of stuff." I continue. "What if John is in like another realm?" I ask.

I focus on John and seeing through his eyes. I feel my eyes rolling to the back of my head. "I'm Going to get outta here, you bastard!" I hear Constantine say. I can see myself standing in front of a man and a younger woman, although it's not my body, it's John's. John, can you hear me? I say in my head. "Lou, is that you?" I hear Constantine mutter back.

It's me, tell me, where are you and how can I get you out. I ask him through our minds. I see the man and the woman through his eyes screaming in... Pain. "Whatever you're doing, it's working. Keep goin', love." John says. I'm just talking through... Magic... Wait... Is magic the thing holding them off? I stutter. I can see his head nodding, god this feels weird.

I see the woman and the man fall down when I suddenly lose the connection between John and me. "John, John? Can you hear me?" I mumble softly while grabbing my head. "L, hey, hey! Are you okay??" I hear Sara ask me worryingly. I look up to face Sara. "She's fine, love." A voice says from the corridor. It's John!! "Where were you!?" Sara asks him, demanding to know the answer.

"Thank you, I'm okay!" John says in a sarcastic tone. I run over to him and give him a hug. His arms are spread and in place as he looks at me with a shocked face. After a few seconds, he hugs me back. "You saved me, dad," I say softly while letting go of him. I look at his face to see slight tears forming in his eyes. "And you saved me," John says back.

John's POV
"I know who's after Louisa," I say when we all gathered around at the bridge. Louisa didn't join us, she's back to her friends to say goodbye and explaining everything. "Tell us," Sara says with her arms crossed. "His name is Belial, sounds familiar? I ask. "I thought you and Belial were good," Nora says. "Well..." I say and click my tongue.

"I think this is Astra's doing. She was there too. She's the one who let those souls back to earth." I say. "Manny was right." I hear Louisa say from behind me. "You met him?" I ask her while turning around. "Yeah, you know him?" She asks me back. "I helped him gather information about a demon in exchange for a better ending," I say.

"But that doesn't make sense. The other time he made you a deal, why warn us without us having to give anything back?" She mumbles, thinking out loud. I think out loud too, she's so much like me. "I don't know, love. Maybe you should ask." I tell her. Louisa nods and closes her eyes. After a few seconds her eyes open, but they're white. Oh, bloody no.

"Lou! Lou! L! You can't just call an angel, dear!" I yell as I run towards her with all my speed. "You'll bloody die if you don't snap out of it, damn it!" I continue while holding and shaking her head. Her eyes are still white, she's just standing there with her slightly mouth open.

eripe me sicut anima et eius auxilium ad eam hanc societatem civium. I chant while holding my hands on her face. My head is getting lighter by the second but Louisa's body is getting more stable. She's returning. After a few moments, I hear a gasp and see her eyes return to normal. "What happened?" She asks whilst breathing heavily.

I stumble a few steps back but manage to stabilize myself. I grab my head and shake the dizziness off while blinking. "Oh, now that's definitely worse than one of those bloody hangovers," I say. "Don't try that next time, sweetheart," I add as I point at Louisa. She nods.

One day later...

Mick, Charlie and John are drinking and talking in the kitchen of the waverider. Ava, Nora and Sara are in Ava's apartment, watching a movie and doing a girls' night in. Behrad is visiting his sister, Zari. Mona and Gary are back working at the Time Bureau. And last, Ray, Louisa and  Nate are playing card games in the captain's office.

Nate's POV
"Dang it. L, how are you so good at this?" I say after Louisa won another round. "Just luck maybe. Or the fact that I used to play with my mom every day." She says with a smirk. "Challenge accepted!" Ray says while narrowing his eyes. "Okay, Raymond," Lou says, also narrowing her eyes.

"I hope you like being with us. I mean, we're doing good, right?" Ray asks suddenly, getting all worried about himself in a funny way again. "Mhm!" Louisa says and nods. "If everyone here was my family, you two would be perfectly fit to be brothers!" She says. Ray and I look at each other. We all burst out laughing. "Actually, L, we're all family, and you are part of it," I say after we stopped laughing. Louisa smiles softly.

"Can I ask you two a question?" Louisa suddenly asks, her smile fading. "Uh, sure." Ray answers. "Was it hard for you to leave your family to join the Legends?" She asks us. "I didn't really have family near me anymore," Ray says. "Perks of being an adult. He continues. "And what about you, Nate?" She asks me. "Well, I didn't really leave my family, I still hung out. Well, until my dad was killed by Neron." I say.

A silence falls and Ray puts a hand on my shoulder. Louisa looks at me with wide eyes. I decide to say something to calm her. "Yeah. It was hard, but I learned to live my life without him. I got a decent goodbye from my dad." I add. "No, no it's not that. Angel Manny told me about a demon named Neron. Neron has something to do with all this." Louisa says.

Note:

Welp, I ran out of ideas. I'm gonna get some inspiration an make a new chapter later. Maybe in about two days or three or something. I think I came really far though. The thing about Google translate and Latin is just so weird. Just don't translate Latin into English, that will give awful results😂.
