Chapter seventeen

Nate's POV

In front of us looks to be a giant prison. It's bigger than iron heights. I didn't even know it existed. "Guys, something is definitely wrong. Not only did she get arrested, but Louisa has also been transferred to an unknown prison to most, called Parkwood heights, by a request from an anonymous person." I hear Ray say through the comms. Well, he did his research. "We need to get inside now or she'll be dead by morning." John suddenly says and throws his cigarette on the ground before putting it out with his shoe.

"He says that a lot, doesn't he?" I say softly to Sara. She nods back to me. As we reach the gate of this gigantic building, I look up to see guards and high fences and walls everywhere. "We need a disguise," I whisper to the rest. "Let me what I can do," John says and starts mumbling in Latin. His nose starts bleeding just a little. After he stopped chanting, I look around me only to see no difference.

A guard walks up to us and John shows a card. "We are from the Federal Government, we've got an investigation." He says while holding the card to the guard's face. "You can pass." The guard says. John gives him a little nod as we walk through the opened gate. We walk past the gym, past the cells and finally, into the cafeteria. I scan the whole cafeteria hoping to find Louisa, but I see only grown men and women.

Louisa's POV
I have to try and make a run for it. I run out of the corner and kick him in the head, resulting in Nicholas falling to the ground in pain while grabbing his head. This is my chance, I can't take the weapon because the real guards will see it like it's mine. I leave him there and run back through the hallways towards the cafeteria. I swiftly look behind me to see Nicholas turning around and letting go of his head.

I reached the cafeteria to see the legends, surprisingly. "You guys are so late to the party, what took you so long?!" I say angrily. "I almost died!" I add as my voice starts breaking. "Prison sucks," Mick mumbles while grabbing his heat gun. "He's in there," I say softly and point towards the hallway. "Who?" Sara asks. "Wait, isn't that why you're here? There's an encore right around the corner!" I say back. "We didn't receive an alert, Zed had a vision about you getting arrested by those bastards," Dad says irritated. That's strange. Why didn't they receive an alert?

"I got a sedative, be right there." I hear Ray say through Sara's comm. "He better hurry," Sara says as the corridor with Nicholas now standing not far away from us. "I think he doesn't give up easily." Nicholas runs angrily toward us. I see a ray of fire fly past me. "Burn, you bastard!" Mick says loudly. Before I could do something, the fire alarm was already going off. I look at Nicholas and notice that he's still walking towards us. "You're right, Ray better hurry," I say and walk backwards.

"Hey! What are you still doing here?! Walk out of the building calmly and wait outside for the firefighters to arrive!" I hear a guard yell at us. Rory quickly aims at a wooden table in the cafeteria to scare the guard off. It worked, he ran away. Nicholas, though, didn't. Sara quickly runs towards Nicholas and smacks him with her bo staff. "Jesus, these ladies have some serious fire." He murmurs as he covers his eye.

I see a tiny red and blue man flying past me. It's Ray. He lands behind Nicholas, but the noise of his suit messed his plan up. "Thought you could fool me? He warned me. He warned me for your plans and your powers." Nicholas stammers loudly. I see him transform into someone else. Into... me. "I didn't know he did that..." Nate and Ray both mumble in confusion "Ray!" Sara yells. "Yeah right," Ray says back and gets the needle from behind his back. Nicholas turns around and Ray jams the needle in his arm.
