Chapter 8

Eh, why is he...

Before Ming Yu could continue with his thought, the latter's voice has brought him back to his senses.

"Recommend me something good?" Fu Heng asked.

Fu Heng didn't know why he didn't want to leave the cafe upon seeing that Ming Yu work there. 

Perhaps it was because he wanted to spend some time alone with Ming Yu, thus he lied to the group that he's going back first, so that they could go away and he could have some time alone with Ming Yu.

Ming Yu was startled as he didn't know why Fu Heng suddenly came back as he hasn't left for that long. Yet, he felt happy upon seeing him and response to him, "Oh...we have this ice cream fruit cake."

"I'll take that along with one strawberry smoothie."

"Here, or to go?"

"Here."

What? Why is he eating here? Can he even finish it all in 20 minutes?

"Okay."

Fu Heng once again handed his black card to Ming Yu. 

Once the payment was done, it only took Ming Yu about 3 minutes before he bring the ice cream fruit cake along with the strawberry smoothie to Fu Heng.

Ming Yu went to lock the door since the cafe is about to be close so that people can't open from the outside. He was just waiting for Fu Heng to finish and close the cafe for the day.

"Let's eat together." Fu Heng suddenly spoke.

"No thanks...I'm goo..."

Ming Yu didn't get to finish his word when Fu Heng quickly cut him off, "I won't be able to eat all of this by myself. Since the cafe is about to be close, you might as well as come and help me eat this, so that you can close the cafe on time."

If you know that the cafe is about to be closed, then why did you choose to eat here instead of takeout?

Despite his inner thoughts, seeing how delicious the ice cream fruit cake was Ming Yu couldn't resist. Ming Yu has never eat anything like that before, therefore he was a bit excited to try.

"Okay."

Hearing the latter's response, Fu Heng was feeling happy inside for no reason.

Instead of cutting the cake, Ming Yu grab a plastic spoon and start to eat the cake since there wasn't any plastic knife given with the cake and it would be too much trouble if he went to grab a knife from the kitchen since the cafe is about to be closed.

Taking a bite of the cake Ming Yu couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, so delicious." He subconsciously smile while eating the cake. 

Ming Yu didn't realize how silly and cute he was at this moment as he was immersed in enjoying the taste of the ice cream fruit cake.

Seeing Ming Yu's smiled, Fu Heng's heart skip a beat.

"Here." Fu Heng pass the strawberry smoothie that he had just drink over to Ming Yu.

With the delicious taste of the fruit cake, Ming Yu totally forgot about the fact that he was eating off from someone and unconsciously accept the smoothie. He put down the spoon to take a slip of the smoothie. "You should try some. It's very delicious." Having said that he took another slip of the smoothie.

"Mm. I should."

Instead of taking another plastic spoon next to the one that Ming Yu had just used, Fu Heng took the one that Ming Yu had just used to scope a mouthful of ice cream fruit cake into his mouth.

"Mm. It's indeed very delicious."

Cough...cough..

Why are you using my spoon? Isn't that consider as an indirect kiss?

Ming Yu couldn't help, but blushed upon his inner thought. He didn't understand why the latter use the spoon that he had just used.

Seeing Ming Yu's red face, Fu Heng suddenly have the urge to pinch the two red cheeks. 

Ming Yu was even more adorable when he blushed.

"You okay?" Fu Heng asked pretending not to notice the fact that he had just use the latter's spoon. He was very good at pretending to be innocent.

"I'm okay." Ming Yu replied.

"You should eat more."

Ming Yu actually likes the ice cream fruit cake a lot, yet he wasn't sure if he should continue to eat more or not since it would be rude if he were to use another spoon, but the latter have already use his spoon.

"Okay." 

Despite his inner thoughts, Ming Yu still choose to eat more since his stomach and the dessert in front of him is what it matters at the moment.

With no choice since he didn't want to be rude, Ming Yu continue to eat the delicious ice cream fruit cake with the shared spoon.

Fu Heng only eat the cake every time Ming Yu put down his spoon. He didn't know why he just wanted to use the shared spoon. Maybe it makes the cake tastes extra delicious with the indirect kiss.

They both end up finishing everything just in time when it was time for the cafe to be closed.

"Are you staying in the dormitory?" Fu Heng asked.

"Yes."

"Then, let's go back together. I'm also staying in the dormitory."

"Okay."

With that they both left the cafe walking side by side heading back to the dormitory.

"I'm Ming Yu." Ming Yu took the initiative to introduce himself. 

Since he had already figured out that he has a crush on Fu Heng, he didn't mind telling the latter his name.

"I'm Fu Heng. Nice to meet you." Fu Heng said while extend his hand ready for a hand shake.

Since it was his crush, Ming Yu didn't think much and also extend his hand for the handshake.

Once their hand touches, they both feel like they didn't want to let go of the other person's hand, but still let go in fear that the other person might feel uncomfortable.

His hand is so cold, Ming Yu thought.

His hand is so soft, Fu Heng thought.
