Chapter 40

Ming Yu went to visit grandma Song and Lan again. Since it was break time for all the students, hence he decided to stay with the two during the break time.

Seeing Ming Yu, Lan called out happily, "Daddy, Yu."

"Ah Lan." Ming Yu picks him up and hugs him.

"Grandma, I promise to take Lan to eat at Snowy ice cream shop today, do you want to come with us?"

"Haha...grandma is too old and can't eat ice cream. You guys go ahead. Today, I have to meet with an old friend of mine."

"Okay. Let us take you there and then we'll go to Snowy ice cream shop."

"Okay, I just remember that her place is really close to Snowy ice cream shop. We used to eat at that ice cream shop when we were little."

The group of three went out together and only separated when they sent grandma Song to her friend's house.

"Alright, you two go now. I won't take long. I will come find you guys at Snowy ice cream shop once I'm done."

On the other side, Inside the Fu company, Fu Heng was busy looking over some financial data.

Ring...ring...

"Speak."

"I checked the security camera like you asked for, but didn't find anything. I went to ask the person that asked Ming Yu to help hang the posters and found out that someone had exchanged the posters that Ming Yu was supposed to be posting. He probably didn't notice what was on those posters as he didn't even glanced at the poster. I can see his dark eye circles from the video."

Fu Heng was furious upon hearing that someone was trying to target Ming Yu. How dare those pests!

Knock..knock...

Fu Heng hung up the phone and spoke in an annoyed tone, "Come in."

It was Ji Dong. He walked inside and sat on the sofa.

"What are you doing here?"

"I can't even visit my friend?"

"I'm busy."

"You saw those posters of me and Yue Li, right?" Seeing the latter being silent, Ji Dong knew that he had seen them kiss in the poster. He continued, "It's not her fault. Don't blame her. If you want to blame then blame me."

Ji Dong knew how much Yue Li loved and cared about Fu Heng, thus he came to find him just in case he had misunderstood her.

"You know that I don't have those kinds of feelings toward her as I only see her as a sister."

"She loves you."

"I will only say this once. Between me and her, it's impossible. She probably didn't understand the meaning of love. Besides, you think I didn't know that you have feelings for her."

"I...I.."

"If you are still a man, go after her. Don't let your lady keep on chasing after me. It's annoying."

"Thank you."

"Now get out. I have a meeting in about 30 minutes."

"Yes, yes my dear friend."

Inside Snowy ice cream shop, Lan and Ming Yu were eating ice cream happily.

"Daddy Yu, this ice cream tastes very good." Lan said happily, taking a mouthful of the ice cream. He then scooped another mouthful of the ice cream and fed it to his daddy, "Daddy Yu, you should try some."
