Chapter 29

Ming Yu left after bidding goodbye to the old lady, who he had just accepted as his grandma and Lan. He had promised to go visit them again. He couldn't help, but feel relieved to have met grandma Song and Lan. They give him a sense of what it feels like to have a family with him. 

Even though they had only met for a while, Ming Yu really likes grandma Song and Lan a lot.

Ming Yu's eyes were still a bit red from earlier as he couldn't control his emotions. At the same time, he couldn't wait to see Fu Heng and tell him about grandma Song and Lan. He bet Fu Heng must be very surprised when he told him about grandma Song and Lan. Ming Yu was one hundred percent sure that Fu Heng would definitely like Lan as much as he did when he met Lan in the future.

Reaching the dormitory, Ming Yu went inside Fu Heng's dorm. Seeing the empty room, he knew that Fu Heng must be busy again. He places the gift on the table before making himself some ramen since he hasn't eaten anything today. Earlier, he was too excited upon seeing Lan, thus he totally forgot about his poor stomach.

After Ming Yu finished eating ramen, he went back to his shared dorm to ask if DeLun was going to Yue Li's birthday party, or not. He really didn't want to go alone.

Unfortunately, DeLun had something going on later that night, thus he couldn't go with Ming Yu.

Inside Yue Li's family mansion everything was decorated beautifully. 

The hiring chefs were in the process of preparing the food and snacks for the birthday party. There were a variety of foods and snacks that were prepared for the birthday party.

On the other side, Yue Li and Li Na were inside Yue Li's room getting ready. She had Li Na come earlier this morning as they went to get their makeup done professionally as well as going shopping to buy some beautiful dresses. Yue Li had a pink dress on while she gave Li Na a red dress to thank her for going shopping with her the whole morning.

Fu Ying on the other side was still at the Fu's company finishing up her work. She was very busy, thus she didn't have time to hangout nor get ready with Yue Li and Li Na. On the other hand, Fu Heng is currently in meeting with other managers discussing a new upcoming project.

Soon, it was night time. One by one people start coming to Yue Li's birthday party. Everyone that came to the birthday party all dressed very elegantly and brought over a gift for Yue Li.

Soon, the mansion was filled with noise.

Yue Li didn't invite a lot of people other than close friends and relatives along with some business partners to her birthday party. Yet, a lot of people show up at her birthday party.

Ji Dong's family were also invited to the party. Ji Dong's parents had something to do on that night, thus he came alone.

The Yan's family were also invited to Yue Li's birthday party since they were currently cooperating on a project together. Yan Lu's parents were busy, thus they made Yan Lu come to the birthday party alone in hope that their son might find someone at the party that would catch his attention.

Yan Lu rejected his parents' idea since he didn't want to attend to whoever, or whatever Yue Li's birthday. He really has no time for other people. Yet, his parents had promised him that if he goes, they will let him take off a week from the company, thus he happily complied with it since he wants to take some time off to hangout with his cutie Ming Yu.

Yan Lu had a black suit on, making him very handsome.

Walking inside, the ladies couldn't take their eyes off him. Many of the beautiful ladies couldn't help, but whisper to one another upon seeing the handsome Yan Lu. How they wish Yan Lu would notice them and come talk to them.

Seeing nothing interesting, Yan Lu handed in the present that his mother had prepared for the birthday lady. After that he went to grab a cup of wine. The birthday party is too boring for him. He really wanted to leave at this moment, but that would be too rude since he had just arrived.

Not long after Yan Lu showed up, Fu Heng also appeared.

Just like Yan Lu, Fu Heng had a black suit on making him look very handsome.

All of the ladies with blushing faces couldn't stop staring at the two handsome figures. Those two look like two handsome princes that were waiting for their princesses. They really wish those two handsome princes would take them as their princess. How great would that be!

Upon seeing Fu Heng, Yue Li happily came forward to greet him. She was very happy that he really came to her birthday party. At the same time, Li Na was in a corner watching hatefully at them, but still suppressed her feelings for the moment.

Seeing the birthday lady with a handsome guy, Yan Lu couldn't help but stare. It's not like he was interested in Yue Li, but he was a little curious upon seeing the handsome man by her side.

"Fu Heng. Thanks for coming." Yue Li said happily. She was very happy to see her crush. He looks really handsome as always making her heart beat so fast.

"Here." Fu Heng said coldly while passing the present his mother prepared for Yue Li. He did not even want to come if not for his mother's sake.

"Thank you." Yue Li happily takes it.

Just after Yue Li said that from the corner of her eyes, she saw Ming Yu appeared. She then tiptoed and pressed her lips against Fu Heng.

Yue Li's action was too sudden, which really caught Fu Heng off guard. It was the first time that they had kissed. Fu Heng came back to his senses quickly. Just as he was about to push her away, Yue Li had already pulled herself away from him. 

Without giving him a chance to say something, Yue Li quickly hugged his waist tightly and buried her head in his arm.

Everyone there was shocked upon seeing the two kissing, despite it being only a peck. Seeing the two hugging being intimate, some people were happy for the two while some were jealous.

Most ladies there couldn't help, but feel extremely jealous of Yue Li.

Li Na upon seeing the scene in front of her subconsciously clenched her hand into a fist. She really wants to cut off Yue Li's disgusting mouth. How dare that filthy mouth to touch her man! That was not what they had planned earlier as their plan was just to make fun of Ming Yu and make him lose face.

Tears rolling down from his cheeks like rain fall, Ming Yu turned around and walked away.
