Chapter 36

Soon the semester is coming to an end. All of the students were very busy preparing for the upcoming final exam.

Ming Yu was very busy studying for the final exam, therefore he didn't have time to go visit grandma Song and Lan.

Lan missed Ming Yu a lot and wanted to go visit him, but he didn't know where Ming Yu lived. Besides, Ming Yu had promised him that once he finished with his exam, he would come see him.

Thus, Lan can only patiently wait for Ming Yu.

Finishing with all the final exams for all of the classes that he took, Ming Yu was relieved and happy as it meant that he would be on breaks before the next semester begins.

Walking out of the classroom, as he headed toward the boy's dormitory, Ming Yu came upon Yue Li and Li Na.

Before Ming Yu could say anything, Yue Li had rushed toward him.

Without hesitation, she lifted her hand and gave Ming Yu a hard slap on his face.

Ming Yu didn't have time to dodge it as it was too abrupt. He could only stare at her confusingly not understanding why Yue Li suddenly hit him.

Just as Ming Yu was about to speak, Yue Li harshly threw a crumpled paper into his face.

Ming Yu was confused, but still bent down to pick up the crumpled paper on the ground and opened it. He was shocked to see Yue Li laying on top of Ji Dong and the two were kissing.

"This..." Ming Yu didn't get to finish his word when Yue Li quickly interrupted him.

"To think that I even know you makes me feel disgusted." Seeing the latter's confusing face Yue Li continued, "How dare you to take this kind of photo and posted it everywhere in the university."

Just as Ming Yu was about to say something, he saw Fu Heng coming over.

"What happened?" Fu Heng asked in a cold voice not knowing about the situation as he had just come back from the Fu's company. He was on his way to go to class to take the final exam.

"Fu Heng." Yue Li called out while sobbing. This was the first time that she had experienced something shameful like this. She really doesn't know what to do.

"Speak."

"Fu Heng. It's like this, yesterday Yue Li and Ji Dong bumped into each other in the hallway and unexpectedly fell down together and...and kissed each other by accident. And Ming Yu took their photo and made it into posters and posted it everywhere on the campus." Li Na took the initiative to speak seeing that Yue Li is unable to say anything.

Fu Heng stared at Ming Yu while asking the two ladies, "Do you have evidence?"

"Here." Yue Li said while passing her phone to Fu Heng.

Fu Heng took the phone and played the video. On the video it shows Ming Yu posted those picture posters of Yue Li and Ji Dong. Once the video ended, Fu Heng looked over Ming Yu and locked their eyes.

"I won't let you get away with this. I will definitely post this video on the university website to let people see what kind of person you are." Yue Li said while still sobbing. She couldn't believe that Ming Yu would go this far as to revenge her for kissing Fu Heng during her birthday.

"It's not..." Ming Yu didn't get to finish his word when Fu Heng lifted his hand and gave him a hard slap in the face leaving a red handprint on it.

"I only believe what I see." Fu Heng's words really crushed down Ming Yu's word.

The slap hurt a lot to the point that it made Ming Yu's lips bleed slightly and finally tears came rolling down. It's not only physical pain that he felt, but also emotional. All he could feel at this moment is his heart being shattered. It hurt so much when the person he hoped would believe in him didn't even trust him a bit.

Fu Heng deleted the video on the phone, before he passed the phone back to Yue Li, "You don't need to go as low as this bastard. It's not worthy."

"Yes, I agree with Fu Heng." Li Na said, trying every possible way to be on Fu Heng's good side.

"Haha...what you say is true. I'm just a low bastard." Ming Yu said, staring straight into Fu Heng's cold eyes while the rain on his eyes continued to fall. Since no one believe him then there is no need to continue trying to persuade them. He continued, "Think and do whatever you want." With that he turned around and walked away with tears rolling down nonstop.

Unbeknown to both Yue Li and Li Na, but Fu Heng's hand was trembling after slapping Ming Yu. He felt very regretful for slapping him.

Seeing Ming Yu's crying face was like a stab into his heart.

"I'll have people to take those posters down, so don't make any more trouble." With that Fu Heng went away heading to class to take the final exam.

Ming Yu went straight to his dorm as he couldn't let other people see him cry. It was way too embarrassing for a grown up man to cry in front of other people. Yet, he couldn't control his tears since it hurts so much as if someone had stabbed him with a dagger.

After washing his face, Ming Yu lay in his bed trying to think.

Recalling about yesterday, he didn't do anything other than helping one of his classmates post some paper around on the campus. It was kind of late, thus he didn't even bother to look at the information on the paper since he was very tired. It seemed like he had been tricked, or someone had purposely set him up.

Ming Yu decided to head out of the dorm to find the classmate that he helped with yesterday. It only took him about 30 minutes before he found that classmate.

"Why did you make me post the poster of Yue Li and Ji Dong around the campus?"

"I..I am so sorry. I really didn't know. Those posters that I asked you to help me put them around the campus were supposed to be posters about the upcoming vacation trip. I really didn't know that someone had replaced them with those posters. I'm not lying as I had just found it out this morning. Those posters about the upcoming vacation trip have been put into the trash bin by someone else. I'm really sorry if I caused you trouble. Please, don't report me. I will explain to Yue Li and Ji Dong if you want me to."

"No need." With that Ming Yu walked away.

Since it didn't seem like the latter did that on purpose, then of course he didn't want to blame him as mistakes and accidents can happen at any time.

It seems like someone is trying to target him. Thinking about his life in the university, Ming Yu had not offended anyone before. He was not idle and had no time to bother other people.

Even though Ming Yu and Fu Heng had dated before, they had already broken up and beside Yue Li is one of the parties involved, therefore he can cross her out.

After thinking for some time, Ming Yu couldn't think of anyone else other than one person. Even though that person has not really made any move against him, he could see the hostility in the latter's eyes directed at him whenever they met.
