After the group had spent a few minutes searching the computer, a picture of a strange man appeared. King Mickey appeared and told the group that the man was named 'Ansem'. Confused, the group took Mickey back to the study to show him the painting.
"Look, THIS is Ansem," Sora insisted. "Y'know, the guy we all worked reeeeeally hard to defeat?"
"Oh, that's right. I never finished explaining," Mickey muttered.
"Huh?" the group asked.
"Well, the man in the picture is definitely the one who tried to take over Kingdom Hearts the one you fellas defeated," Mickey explained. "But, what you actually fought is his Heartless. Ya see, he wasn't really Ansem. He just went around telling everybody that he was."
"You mean..." Donald started.
"What?!" Sora yelled. "We went through all that trouble to defeat an imposter?"
"Yep, a fake," Mickey agreed. "But he still had to be stopped.
"But...if he his a fake, who is the real Ansem? And where did he go?" Rue asked.
"Whelp, that's just what I'm tryin' to figure out. Lelie too," Mickey replied. "Ansem the Wise should know all about Organization XIII's plans, and what's been happening to the worlds. I'm pretty sure he'll give us some help."
"Your Majesty, if you don't mind me asking," Violet said, "how does Lelie know Ansem the Wise?"
Mickey thought for a moment. "I'm not sure if I'm the one who should be tellin' you that."
"Awww, why?" Rue whined.
"That's Lelie's story to tell, not mine. I don't want to offend her," Mickey explained. "All I'll say is that she was once close to Ansem the Wise, very close."
"Now I just wanna know more," Violet admitted.
Mickey sighed. "Y'know, I came close to finding him once..."
"Don't tell me there's more," Sora groaned. "I'm confused enough as it is!" (oh honey, you have no idea...)
Rue hummed. "Let's see...A guy named Ansem, who was the real Ansem, became a Heartless. Wouldn't there be a Nobody created too?"
"Yup," Mickey agreed. "And that Nobody is the leader of the Organization." Everyone gasped. "I know I've met this fake Ansem before, and I've seen the leader of Organization XIII too. It's kinda felt like being around the same fella."
"Where did you meet him?" Rue asked.
Mickey sighed. "I wish I could remember. Ansem the Wise-the real Ansem- must know the impostor's true identity. That's why I have to find him and ask him about it."
Sora glared at the portrait. "You...you started all of this..." he growled. "Because of you...Riku and Kairi..." He suddenly perked up. "Your Majesty, do you know where Riku is?"
Mickey flinched. "He's...I'm sorry. I can't help."
"Really, Your Majesty?" Violet asked softly. "Are you positive?"
Mickey turned away from them. "I'm sorry, guys."
"What about Kairi?" Sora asked. "Organization XIII might have kidnapped her."
