==========
Lelie, Rue, Violet
==========
Rue glanced around the clearing out of the window of the Gummi Ship, which FYI, was WAY bigger then it ever showed in the game. Violet was rummaging around the back of the ship.
"Lelie's been gone for a while. Do you think we should go look for her?" Rue asked her sister.
Violet poked her head out of the pile of spare clothes and food wrappers. "I dunno. She might get mad. And she's scary when mad."
"Yeah," Rue muttered sadly.
"What's this?"
"Hm?" Rue turned to her sister. Violet was holding up a small book. It was black with the Nobody emblem across the front.
"It's looks like some kind of journal," Violet observed. Her face lit up. "I'm gonna open it."
"Don't!" Rue warned. "It must be Lelie's. She'll kill you if she finds out!"
"Don't worry," Violet replied, flipping some of her hair over her shoulder. "What she doesn't know won't hurt her."
"You'd be surprised," a voice said glumly. The twins jumped. Violet threw the journal into the pile. Their heads spun to see a certain red-head Nobody standing in the doorway.
"Axel!" Rue yelped.
Axel chuckled, though his frown remained on his face. "You know my name? I suppose Castle Oblivion didn't erase everything after all. Cause I doubt Lelie talked to you about me."
Violet's eyes narrowed. "Yeah! What did you do to her? She's nothing like the girl we knew!"
Axel huffed. "We got that in common." This caught the twins off-guard.
"What?" they asked in unison. Axel crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
"The version of Lelie that you knew was only one version of her that has existed," Axel told them.
"Another version?" Rue repeated, tilting her head in confusion.
Axel nodded. "Lelie's been through a lot. She's been through events that have forced her to lose her memories time and time again and become a new person."
"And this happens--like what-- every day?" Violet asked darkly.
"No," Axel answered. "As long as I've known her, it's only happened twice. But, me and a few others believe that it has happened once before all that, as well."
"Really? Why do you say that?" Rue said venomously, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
Axel sighed. "Let's just say... Lelie's special. The Superior and others have sensed a power within her that has yet to awaken. A very valuable power that has not been seen for decades."
"Do you believe that?" Violet asked.
Axel shrugged and ran a hand through his fiery hair. "I dunno. To me, she's really just a friend. One of the only ones I have left."
"Gee. I wonder why," Rue spat quietly.
Axel glared at her. "Listen, I don't like having to do the things I do, but if I don't-"
