Hello everyone! I promise I am not dead! I'm sorry I've been so bad at updating recently. My family and I have been super busy...and my writing fuel has been kinda on low. I hope I will be able to get another chapter out soon. Until then, I hope you enjoy this! It's about time things got a little darker...

Lelie

========

Lelie stood atop Hollow Bastion, waiting. With an uneventful search for the annoying little king coming up fruitless, she decided to wait for news from the Organization.

"Missss... two Nobodies are coming...." a hissing voice said. Lelie growled at the swarm of Heartless surrounding her. Their talking and taunting was even louder than before, even interrupting her normal thoughts. Useful informants, yes, but still highly annoying.

Lelie turned to see the leader of the Organization himself, Xemnas, walking towards her, with a terrified Demyx in tow.

"I starting to think you had forgotten," Lelie said as the Nobodies approached.

Demyx laughed nervously. "What? Never. In fact I-"

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" Xemnas cut in, glaring at the Melodious Nocturne. Demyx yelped and dissipated. The Superior's gaze turned back to the humanoid Heartless. "How much longer do you have?" he asked, cutting right to the chase.

Lelie pulled down her hood, revealing her blackened skin and yellowed eye. "I don't know, a few weeks, maybe? If I can just find a new vessel, then I would be fine for at least another year... But, I've found that hoping for the best but expecting the worst is the best strategy, one that the Keyblade Wielder is too naive to recognize."

Xemnas nodded and looked out about the ruined world. "Agreed, and they still don't expect anything?"

A dark smile crossed her face. "Nothing. Even their idiotic King only feels sympathy; he doesn't suspect I'm anything more than a victim."

An equally dark smile appeared on Xemnas' face. "Excellent. Their own stupidity will be their downfall."

Lelie nodded, even though a pang of guilt shot through her blackened heart. She smothered it. "Are you still going to supervise the mission?" she asked, twirling a section of her black hair between her fingers.

Xemnas nodded. "Just in case. With Kingdom Hearts so close to completion, we cannot be too careful."

Lelie hummed. "I suppose, and what do you plan to do with the Keyblade Wielder after Kingdom Hearts is completed?"

Xemnas glanced at her. "Nothing, at the moment."

A crazed look entered Lelie's eyes. "Can I punish him?"

Xemnas raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

"The Keyblade Wielder has done nothing good for me but be a puppet. After we complete Kingdom Hearts and have no more use for him, I want to kill him. Slowly, painfully, so he can feel exactly what he did to me."

Xemnas smirked. "Of course. Do what you want with him."

Lelie yipped happily, the darkness in her skin gently pulsing. "Thank you, Superior!"

"Go," Xemnas urged, "finish your mission."

Lelie gave a small bow and jumped off the castle roof. A dark wind allowed her to softly land on the ground. She sprinted through the many Heartless and Nobodies plaguing the castle grounds.

The Heartless' whispers rang through her head.

...Hearts...

...The Keyblade is here...

...Feed on...hearts...

...The Witch...

...Mistress...

...Darkness...

...Maleficent...

Lelie froze, her happiness melting away. She turned to the Heartless soldier. "What did you say?" she growled.

"Maleficent is here...she's calling..." the Heartless hissed.

"But that is impossible..." Lelie muttered. "She's dead. Unless..." She huffed. "Impossible outer-world villains... Why do they have to be so annoying?" A sigh escaped her lips as she pulled her hood back up. "Looks like I have one more stop to make before I head back..."

Time Skip

Lelie followed the Heartless to the horned witch.

"Maleficent!" she yelled. Maleficent turned and gave a dark smile. Pete, who was standing next to her, started to quake.

"That's her! The little Organization tot I was tellin' you about!" Pete exclaimed, pointing at her.

"Tot?" Lelie sneered, she grabbed her pole. "You better be glad I have a more important mission than killing you right now. But, on that note, I will have to ask you to leave."

"And if we don't?" Maleficent asked smoothly.

Lelie's pole shifted into a giant scythe. "Simple, I make you."

Pete flinched, but Maleficent cackled. "You Organization Nobodies are so dense. Do you see the number of Heartless that are under my command here? I can easily squash you and your kind like insects under my feet."

Beneath the shadow of her hood, Lelie smirked. "My kind? Oh no..." In a blink of an eye, Lelie was before Maleficent, the point of her scythe shoved beneath Maleficent's chin and drawing blood. Pete fell back on his backside, jaw dropped in surprise. "The Nobodies in the Organization may be like my family, but we are not the same species."

Maleficent raised an eyebrow. "What? But if you are not human, you have to be a Nobody!"

"Wrong," Lelie snarled, slightly putting pressure on the blade. "I may have no identity, much like the Nobodies, but I assure you, they and I are as much opposites as they come." Darkness started to weave it's way from her fingers, down her blade and taunt the witch in front of her with it's dark tentacles. "Overstep, and the darkness will consume you again," Lelie deadpanned, as if she had said it several times before. She leaned down to Maleficent's ear, revealing some of her blackened skin and her glowing blue-yellow eyes. "And I for one, can't wait to watch," she whispered.

Maleficent's eyes widened in realization. "Y-you're like- "

"Ansem, Seeker of Darkness?" Lelie laughed, pulling away from the witch. "I suppose you can say that. He and I are of the same origin. Strong, sentient Heartless possessing bodies that are not our own. Yearning for something that we will do anything to get. Sharing a heated hatred for a certain boy with a Keyblade. Yes, I suppose we are the same. Though there is one difference-" Lelie brought her gloved hand upward, and a small puddle of darkness nearby transformed into the shape of Sora. Lelie's scythe shifted into a spear, and she threw it. It embedded itself deep inside shadow-Sora's heart. The being slumped to the ground. "I will destroy that brat," Lelie finished. "And if you don't want to be caught in the crossfire, I suggest you leave."

She walked toward the shadow-Sora. She yanked the spear out of its semi-solid body, darkness staining the blade like blood. For good measure, the pole shifted again into a scythe and she smoothly sliced off the shadow's head, the humanoid Heartless' eyes sparkling with dark intent. The shadow-being dissolved again into darkness as Lelie left through a Dark Corridor, leaving Maleficent and Pete behind, terrified by the heart-less, no-one.
