"Ricky!"

"Coming!" Ricky responded as he exited his room. He hummed a song on his way down, but stopped immediately.

His eyes widened, "Mom..?"

"Ricky, son come here." Mike gestured, but Ricky stayed still.

Lynne just stared blankly at him.

Ricky got out of his shocked trance and moved forward.

"Mom.."

"Ricky.. I need to tell you-"  Mike said but was cut off.

"Hi, i'm Lynne, and you are?" Lynne said with a smile on her face. Ricky's eyes widened once again.

"What?" Ricky asked. Did his own mother forget about him?

"Ricky, sit down." Mike said as he patted the couch. Ricky walked over and sat down confused as ever.

"Ricky, you're mother here, she got into an accident, and lost her memory. All she remembers is her life before we got married." Mike explained. Ricky's mind went racing as he heard that.

Will they get back together again?

Or will they get together, but split again?

Ricky's eyes began to water.

"I-I need a minute." He said as he got up and left the house. He quickly walked to someone he knew he could always count on. Nini.

It started raining as he walked, so quickened up his pace.

He finally arrived at Nini's and ran her doorbell and waited until someone opened the door.

"Oh gosh, Ricky! You're soaking wet, come on in!" Someone had said, but Ricky had zoned out. He looked and saw that it was Carol.

"Ricky?" Another voice said. It was Nini's.

"Oh my, you're soaked, let me get you something to change into." Nini said as she went back up to her room to grab some of the spare clothes Ricky had left.

"Honey, did you eat yet?" Carol asked.

Ricky shook his head no, "No, but i'm not hungry anyways."

"Nonsense, i'll fix something up." Carol said. Ricky was about to stop her, but she already left. He sighed as Nini walked back down.

"Here" She said as she handed him a towel and one of his shirts and sweatpants. "Put it on, then we can talk about why you showed up without noticed all soaked."

Ricky silently nodded his head and headed to the bathroom to change.

Five minutes later, Ricky came out of the bathroom and saw Nini waiting for him in the kitchen.

He walked over where he saw a plate with some food on it.

"Here you go, Ricky. Make sure to eat up! There's some more in the fridge." Carol said.

"Thanks momma C, you really didn't have to do this." Ricky said as he sat down.

"Ricky, you're practically family now." Carol said as she side hugged him. "I'm going to be upstairs if the two of you need anything."

"So," Nini started. "What's up?"

Ricky looked down sadly. Nini softly placed her hand on his cheek.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She asked. Ricky had then started crying.

Nini's heart cracked and she got up to hug him. Ricky hugged her back until he calmed down.

"My mom came back, and- and she lost her memory."

Nini's mouth dropped. "What?"

"My reaction exactly." Ricky commented.

"So what are you doing here, Ricky?! You should be with your mom and dad right now!"

Ricky looked down again. "It's just, she came back, but I wasn't expecting her to lose her memory or something." He paused and took a deep breath, "Dad says that she remembers everything before they got married."

"Oh, Ricky." Nini replied. She took ahold of his hands and looked into his eyes. "You should be with them though. They both need you right now."

Ricky's eyes began tear up as he looked at Nini. "Will-will you be there with me?"

"Of course." Nini replied. "Everything will be okay, Ricky."

Ricky took another breath, then hugged his girlfriend. "You're right. Thank you, Nini, for everything."

"Anytime, Ricky. Anytime." Nini replied as she hugged him back. "Now eat up! Then get some sleep, and we can go see your parents tomorrow morning."

Ricky complied and started to eat.

Ricky and Nini were at Ricky's doorsteps the next morning.

Ricky was freaking out a bit, but Nini was there to support him.

"Ricky, you'll be fine." Nini said as she placed her hand on his back.

"You're right, it'll be okay." He said back as he unlocked the front door. He and Nini entered in.

"Ricky! And Nini!" Mike said as soon as he saw the two.

Nini had immediately approached him and hugged him.

"I'm sorry, I heard what happened." She said. Mike thanked her.

"Dad, where's mom?" Ricky asked.

"Upstairs. Do you want me to get her?" Mike asked. Ricky nodded his head and he soon made his way upstairs.

Ricky and Nini took a seat, and Nini noticed Ricky tapping his foot on the ground softly, shaking with nervousness.

She grabbed his hand and held it, smiling softly at him in reassurance.

Lynne and Mike soon came down after. Ricky and Nini had stood up.

"Hello, you guys are?" She asked politely.

"I'm Nini" She introduced once again as she smiled at her.

Lynne then looked at Ricky. "Oh, I remember you, you were here yesterday!"

"Uh, yes" Ricky said as he shifted uncomfortably. "Um, hi, mom.. it's Ricky." He said. Lynne looked at him weirdly.

"Son?" She asked looking at Mike who nodded at her.

She took a step forward looking at Ricky.

"Oh, he's so beautiful!" She said as she looked at him. Ricky started crying a bit.

Lynne noticed and wiped a tear. "Ricky? What's wrong."

Ricky didn't respond and just hugged his mother.
