"Okay, Kourt, you there?" Nini asked as she was face timing Kourtney. Nini had just got home from school when she called Kourtney right away.

"Yea Nini, what's up?"

"Okay, soO um." Nini said as she was very much nervous.

"How do you tell your best friend that you possibly have feelings and like them way more than just friends?"

"Nini, I am flattered, but i'm sorry, I have eyes on someone else." Kourtney responded.

"What? No! Not you, Kourt. Ricky!"

Nini looked at her phone screen and could see Kourtney's eyes widened, "You like Ricky?!"

Nini nodded slowly.

"Okay, one second." Kourtney said as she quickly took her phone and opened another app on it as the paused screen popped up.

"Okay, back. I KNEW IT!" Kourtney shouted. Nini could hear her mom yelling at her in the background.

"Sorry!" She apologized, then whispered, "I knew it!" She added as she began a mini dance.

"Ashlyn and Carlos owe me $20!" She said happily.

"What! You guys made a bet?" Nini asked in shock.

"Sorry..?"

Nini shook her head, "Okay, whatever, anyways. What do I do?"

"Nini, you should just tell him." Kourtney just said.

"Erm.. are you going to that event thing at school?"

"Yeah. We have to anyways. It's a fundraiser for our junior prom, remember?"

The junior class at East High were hosting a "Spirit Night" event to raise money for their junior prom in May.

"Oh yeah, we have to wear those shirts." Nini replied as she looked at the shirt that was just on top of her desk.

"Tell Ricky there."

"What! No! We're all going to be really busy, so I won't even have a chance. Plus, I don't even know for sure if I really am going to tell him."

Kourtney just rolled her eyes, "Okayy whatever you say so. Anyways, my place with the girls after Spirit Night ends?"

"You know it." Nini said as she nodded.

"Alright, see you soon! Toodles!" Kourtney said as Nini waved and hung up on the face time.

"Nini! Honey, get ready because we're leaving now. We have to go to the store first and pick up some things.

Nini looked over at the time and saw that it was now 3:47. She quickly changed into her class shirt.

"Okay! Coming!" She said as she grabbed her phone and made her way to her mom's car.

Nini sat in in the back as momma D drove to the Walmart closest to them.

"Mom and I are going in now, do you want to come too?" Momma C asked.

Nini shook her head no, "Nah, i'll just wait here."

"Okay, just make sure to the lock the car, okay?" Momma C said as she closed the door. Nini nodded and then locked the car from the inside.

She decided to tell one more person about her little problem.
