Everything was fine until suddenly it was lunch time. Nini wasn't hungry, so she decided to just walk to the library and do whatever.

She wasn't paying attention to where she was walking and suddenly had bumped into someone.

"Oh my gosh, i'm so sorry! I should've payed attention to where I was- Nini?"

Nini stiffened as she heard the familiar voice, "erm, hi Gina."

"Nini! You're back!" Gina said as she flung her arms and hugged Nini. "Where have you been?"

"Erm.. i was with my cousin." Nini quietly said as Gina pulled apart from her.

"Are you headed for lunch right now? We can go together. Everyone will be happy to see that you're back!" Gina asked happily with a huge smile on your face.

"No!" Nini said immediately, "I mean, n-no. Sorry, I just really wanted to get some stuff done."

Gina gave her a funny look, "Is everything alright, Nini? You don't see happy to see me?" She asked as her the tone of her voice lessened.

"What?! No! Of course, I just want to catch up on some things." Nini said as she gave her a small reassuring smile. "I should go now, uh.. i'll see you later.. i guess." She then said, mumbling the last part, before Gina could respond and walked away.

Gina was confused but still smiled in seeing her friend again.

"Guys! Guys!" Gina said as she slammed her hands on the table and sat down catching her breath.

"Woah there, what's up?" EJ said as he placed his hand on her back, helping her calm down a bit.

"You'll never believe who I saw!"

"Who? Zac Efron?" Carlos asked, in a joking matter.

"No! Even better!" Gina replied. Carlos was about to interject asking who could be better than Zac, but Gina cut him off. "I saw Nini!"

Everyone's eyes widened as Kourtney spoke up first, "No way."

Gina nodded her head, "Yeah! I bumped into her on my way here, but she said that she was going catch up on some of the things first in the library, I guess. So, I say just wait to see her after lunch so we can let her finish her things up."

"Okay, but right as the bell rings, i'm going to find her." Kourtney said as she smiled excitedly in seeing her best friend again.

Gina looked around and noticed that a curly haired boy was not there, "Hey, where's Ricky?"

"He had to stay back and talk with Mr. Mazzara. Something about making up a test he missed." Big Red answered as Gina nodded her head.

Nini entered the library and found a seat to sit at. She then decided on working on some of her math, then science.  To be honest, she wasn't really expecting to run into Gina, but she was going to one day eventually.

She stayed there the whole time during lunch. The bell had then rang, and she packed up all her belongings.

She got up to walk to her next class, when someone had bumped into her, almost spilling their bottle of water.

"Whoops, sorry." Nini said, even though the guy was the one who bumped into her.

"Wait-" He said as Nini turned around. But quickly punched herself on the inside.

"..Nini?" Ricky asked as Nini just nodded awkwardly. He then quickly hugged her as he let some tears fall. "You're back..?"

Nini just returned the hug and rubbed his back gently as her voice cracked a bit, "Yeah.. um, I am."

Ricky pulled away to get a good look on her face to make sure that she was actually there. Nini's heart broke a bit to see how sad Ricky looked.

"Why'd you leave and not tell any of us, Nin?" Ricky asked. Nini's eyes began to water.

"Um-" She started off, but looked around first. "I'll tell you, but just not here. Can we, um, go to the place after school?"

The "place" was Ricky and Nini's hideout for whenever they needed a break from whatever was going on in their lives. It was a small garden they found in the park near their houses.

Ricky nodded as he then hugged Nini again, "Just, please don't leave again. I can't handle another important person in my life to leave again."

That's when Nini started to cry softly, "I won't."

Nini walked herself to the park, dragging her feet along the way, which she probably shouldn't do if she didn't want her shoes getting damaged.

Step by step, she soon arrived at her and Ricky's secret place and saw that Ricky was already there waiting for her.

She walked inside and took a seat next to Ricky, placing her back down beside her. Ricky smiled at her softly and greeted her, "Hi."

She then started thinking about all the possible things that could happened after she tells Ricky, and started crying.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Ricky asked as he put his arm around her.

"I feel terrible!" Nini cried as she placed her hands on her face.

"Nini, look, it's not that deep, you came back, right?" Ricky said in a calm voice that made Nini upset even more.

"It's not that, Rick." She said. "I-"

"Take your time, baby." Ricky said as he started making circular motions with his thumb on her arm trying to calm her down a bit.

"I left because I got pregnant and I got scared, but last Sunday, I lost the baby. My baby- our baby, Ricky! That's why I left, and I feel super terrible that I didn't tell you before."

Ricky's eyes widened. Their child? So, Nini left because she got pregnant and was scared.

"Nini-" Ricky said but paused a bit to think of the right words to say.

"I completely understand if you want to break up with me or something, because if I were you, I would too."

"What! No, Nini!" Ricky said as he softly cupped her chin, "I would never leave you, and yea I wish you told me, but it's over. It's done, and we can't go back and change that. I love you, Nina. And i'd never leave you, especially for something like that."

Nini looked at him as tears were still falling from her face, "Really?"

"Really." Ricky responded back with a small smile. "Wow, I was going to be a father."

Nini finally stopped crying, "Um, Ricky, if I still was pregnant, would you have stayed?"

"Nini, what did I just say? I wouldn't leave you, and never will."

Nini just nodded her head, "And Ricky.."

Ricky just hummed back as Nini spoke again, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay." He said as he kissed her temple. "Everything's okay."
